April & May 2019 "Rants & Raves"

So what happened to my blog in April?   I ran out of month, that is what happened.  I had a lot of appointments at the end of the month, as well as some things to get done, and before I knew it, we were into May!

I hope you are all enjoying the last days of spring as we will head into the first day of summer in June.  It appears the summer heat has already set in. (But not complaining.)  Unfortunately, this does bring on some severe storms.  It breaks my heart to hear two of my clients in NJ have lost their homes this week due to tornadoes.   So everyone please be safe and check in often!

Jaselyn is down to another week of preschool and is registered for kindergarten.  (She is excited!) She has resumed her horseback riding lessons for the summer and very much looks forward to that time.

My apologies to everyone as in installing an update on my email, it crashed the entire email system.  For the first time EVER I had no access to my business email for 5 days.  When the system was back up, everything (or so I thought) came through all at once.  I have since learned that some are saying they did email me in that time frame, to which I never received.  Since that time, all seems well and the system appears to be stable.

In April, The Grave Talks, released a podcast interview with me that was done in February on the paranormal case in Franklin, VA that appears on A Haunting.  You may find a link to that podcast here.

The last two months, have consisted of a lot of lifestyle changes for me.  So I have been working on these changes in addition to my work.  As always, your readings always come first.  I have also added something to YouTube.  Although I go on LIVE every so often, I am now setting out to make this a weekly event.

It is hard to schedule an exact time, due to appointments for readings, but so far I am consistently sticking with Thursday or Friday evening at 7 or 8pm EST.  I have really enjoyed these chat sessions and in getting to know everyone.  Our topics are varying, as we are all going through something.  We have had some GREAT conversations over there with some great information being shared.  This has prompted me to add "The YouTube Box" to my website for a point of reference.  Because of the time zone differences I have found a lot will listen in on playback.  So please feel free to join us anytime.

It is what they call set up for a "Super Chat" meaning you are able to pay for readings, or contribute to the channel.  In keeping up with this, we have become a real YouTube family there.  Short notice...YouTube LIVE tonight at 7pm.

In other news....June 6th is the 13th year anniversary of the launching of my website!  Whoohooo!  Thank you all for making that possible!  It has come a long way over the years as it first published as a 3 page site.

March 2019 "Rants & Raves"

Hello spring!  I hope you all had a nice St Patty's day, and Easter is now around the corner.  Time to get your yards cleaned up and start the garden as the flowers begin to bloom.  Maybe a little spring cleaning?
With the weather beginning to break, Jaselyn is looking forward to resuming her horse back riding lessons.  Spring goes so quickly, it will be summer before we know it!

We are also coming to the end of Mercury Retrograde!  The last day is March 28th, and it generally takes a couple of days following before things go back to normal.  For those that I have spoke with, it has many on a high emotional plain.  The next Mercury Retrograde (Time of the unexpected), occurs July 8th through August 1st.  (Yes, at the time of vacation for most, lol)

All updates to my main website have been completed and so far, so good.  If you encounter any problems please email as soon as possible.  Some of the more popular items now have quick links on the homepage.

Video Readings have really taken off for those outside of the US.  Please allow at least a 48 hour turn around on these.  And of course I kept the 1-hour rate in place for spring.

CVAPI is starting to pick up with investigation requests/  We are currently reviewing those requests and getting them setup for investigations.  If you are thinking of submitting a request, do not wait too long, as spots will fill up quickly.

Your YouTube videos are now current and I have done YouTube LIVE the last couple of weeks.  This is something that I will "Try" to do each week as time will permit.

February 2019 "Rants & Raves"

February is such a short month.  I did not have nearly enough time to finish everything I had set out to do!  I do hope that you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day.

Two of my three websites have been updated.  (If you find any mistakes, please feel free to email me.)  CVAPI is the final that is currently under construction.  

I have added some of the popular purchases to the homepage of my website, as well as I am adding the "How to" section and will be adding to that in the month of March.  Remember that the best times to reach me are between 1pm to 1am and to please check my Live Calendar for availability. 

March brings in the first Mercury Retrograde for 2019.  Running from March 5th to March 28th, and as always this is the time of the unexpected.  This one seems to have many high's and low's in regards to finances as well as a warning of "Accidents" in general, so be careful.

March also brings in St Patty's Day on the 17th, followed by the first day of spring on the 20th.  I know many of you have had a very rough winter and are looking forward to spring.

Jaselyn is doing well and looking forward to a break in the weather so she can get back to her schedule of horse riding!  (Although she visits the farm often :) )

March in general appears to be a busy month for most, as you transition from being stuck inside of the house to outdoor activities.

February has been a wonderful month but short.  I am currently caught up on emails as I was running a bit behind.

January 2019 "Rants & Raves"

I feel like we just had Christmas, and already the first month of the year is over.  Happy New Year everyone!  I'm sure most of you are looking forward to the new beginnings 2019, will bring in.  It will also take some time to get used to writing 2019.  (Am I the only one catching myself still writing 2018???)

I do have some changes coming up in 2019.  First of all, many of you have pointed out that my websites still read 2018.  Thank you for that!  (You guys always keep me straight!)  It is a slow process and they will all change to read 2019 within the next week.

Next I will be adding a couple of things to the website.  I spent many years writing for Examiner and published in a couple of magazines, so I will make those articles available on the website.

As always, what I do is based on your input.  With that said, I will add a "How To" section to the website as well.  This I plan to add videos and articles to.  This will be added sometime in the month of February.

I'm also disappointed to hear that YouTube will no longer automatically post my videos to Twitter and Google Plus.  (It was a bonus in sharing those videos!)  So at this point, I do not know if I will invest the time to share them all, or just direct you straight to my channel.  (Remember to subscribe, and click on the bell for notifications when new videos go up.)

In the same turn, I am very pleased to see that my videos will now run on two free apps, available on Android and IPhone.  

The first app is TopBuzz.  A tabloid type app, full of videos and articles.  You can search for Jackie Tomlin on that app and find most of my videos.  The second is a new app of the "Daily Horoscope", (Look for the purple and yellow icon!)  This app is LOADED with information, from videos to articles.  You will find my videos under the daily horoscopes under the "More" tab.

For those that ask often, Jaselyn is doing wonderful.  She is still in preschool and visits the horse farm weekly, she will begin riding again when the weather breaks.

We are coming into the time frame that we can begin the countdown to spring!  Believe it or not, we have almost hit the halfway mark of winter, it will be spring before you know it.  I think it's funny how 60 degrees in the fall and we are ready to turn the heat on, but yet 60 degrees in the spring and we are ready to open the windows!

December 2018 "Rants & Raves"

We are getting ready to close another year and how quickly 2018 went by!  I hope you have all had a Merry Christmas and are getting ready to embrace 2019.  For most this is a time of new beginnings and New Year's Resolutions!

December has been a busy month but a month that certainly did not disappoint.  I celebrated my birthday on the 12th, and thanks to my daughter, a nice surprise being surrounded by my friends! (Sagittarius here!)

Of course it's the little ones that make Christmas special!  Miss Jaselyn had a wonderful Christmas as she watched her horse collection grow!  (She didn't get all of these for Christmas but that collection is definitely growing.)  Each and every one has their own name, and she will get highly upset if I fail to remember them or get them confused.

I did take the time to get the December newsletter out and WOW....what a response!  Thank you all for the Christmas wishes and just giving me updates on you, and pics of your trees and recipes, it was a pleasure to see how you responded when I expected none at all!

In reviewing 2018, not only for myself, but those around me and my clients, I am truly amazed at what changes have occurred for everyone over the course of a year.  Honestly I don't expect 2019 to disappoint either.  There will be LOTS of changes and transitions in 2019.  All of them appear to be most positive, the catch is....I don't think they are coming in the form that you imagine.  It also appears that there will be a lot of reconnecting with those that we have lost touch with.  This could begin as soon as January.

The good news is we are bringing in another year where we are not under Retrograde!  Your free monthly horoscopes will post on my website on Monday.  A bit extended for 2019, and below them you will find the dates for the Retrogrades in 2019.  (Not until March)  You will also find your traits of the zodiac signs as well as your compatibility.

As of now, I really don't have any changes to announce for 2019.  Things are going along with minimal problems, and of course I will add new services as the year progresses.  (It seems I always do!)  I do want to take the time to thank you all for another amazing year!

I do read each and every email I get although a lot of times, I don't take the time to respond due to time constraints.  Keep them coming!  I love hearing your progress reports!

As most of you know the one-year email forecast takes off in popularity this time of year.  With that said, please expect a 2-day delay in getting them.

November 2018 "Rants & Raves"

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  I am sure by now you are all over turkey!  I had a wonderful Thanksgiving with my daughter and granddaughter. I will also have to say, HAT'S OFF to my daughter who prepared a full Thanksgiving dinner on her own!

Jaselyn's birthday was actually on Thanksgiving day this year, so we had many reasons to be thankful.  We followed this up with a large western themed party for her 5th birthday the following weekend.

Unfortunately, due to it being cold and raining we had to cancel the horses coming for rides.  However, she did have a goat and a rabbit visit that she was more then thrilled about.

So who is ready for Christmas?  NOT ME!  As in I have done absolutely nothing.  No shopping, and no decorating. I am now trying to catch the Christmas spirit!

As you know Mercury Retrograde is still in effect until December 6th.  (The time frame of the unexpected.)  This one appears to pack a mechanical punch to it!  I don't know about you guys, but we have certainly felt it here with things breaking down.  Not to worry as it is the last one of the year and we won't see another one until March of 2019.  (Yes, another New Year without being under Retro!)

You can look for some more changes on my website this month, as I am striving for "Simplicity and user friendly".  Also, I will see about moving the "Fan Favorites" to the homepage as well.  This is the time of the year where the one-year forecast takes off, as well as I have many taking advantage of the Video Reading option.  (This is actually a fan favorite outside of the US, twenty or so minutes of me running my mouth!)

I am often approached about Skype, and would like to explain why I don't use it.  Though I have tried many times over the years, the connection still appears to be a problem.  Now you have to remember, that not only are some of you out of the country, I still have some here in the US in rural areas, where wifi is not the strongest.  So to avoid the frustrations of the connection problems, it is just an option that I don't offer.  (Also, it helps to keep my frustrations down, lol.)

I have been consistent with the YouTube videos, but not have been as consistent with doing YouTube Live, like I would like.  I am looking at actually setting a schedule up for this come the first of the year.  (Click on the "Bell" on the channel to get YouTube notifications from me.)

It is also the time of the year that I begin updating my email list.  Make sure your on it by clicking here!  Also, if you have not heard from me, chances are, you have changed your email address, and I am either unaware of it, or it has not been changed on my end.  In that case, email me directly.

October 2018 "Rants & Raves"

Happy Halloween everyone!  For those out with the little ones tomorrow night I hope you have a safe and happy time!  Jaselyn decided to paint her pumpkin this year, and I believe she still plans to carve it as well.  Below is a picture of her as a cowgirl and Casey being a good sport with a pumpkin mask.

Our weather here has been all over the place this month as fall settles in.  Unfortunately, we did have some tornado warnings that took out a couple of our trees.  

I have had numerous emails from you this month regarding the YouTube videos.  I did have some technical problems at one point that have since been corrected.  I also plan to keep up with the YouTube live videos as we have built a strong community over there.  Thank you for the emails, the only way I know if an era has occurred on YouTube or my websites is if you take the time to let me know!

November is approaching and I will run specials throughout the end of the year.  Also, it looks like I will be adding a couple of new services in November.  Again, it is coming into that time of year and I am getting emails regarding the one-year forecast.  Although popular this time of year, it will remain in place throughout the year and going into 2019.

September 2018 "Rants & Raves"

September has been another busy month as the first day of fall hit here September 21st.  The first of the month I was able to spend some time at the beach for my daughter's birthday, before all of our crazy weather set in.  The weather has been pleasant as we wait for the leaves to turn.

I am back to a normal schedule in regards to your YouTube videos.  Jaselyn is back in preschool as we all set into our fall routine.  With October approaching it appears that pumpkin spice EVERYTHING is out.  (My daughter's favorite.)

CVAPI did a preliminary investigation this month and looking forward to returning to that location soon.  

I am feeling a bit lost at the moment, as my truck is in the shop! :(  It should be ready soon.

I currently have a couple of new Reiki students and for those interested please contact me about it.  It is designed to do from home at your own pace.

August 2018 "Rants & Raves"

Yes, my August blog on September 1st!  Actually I have been tied up with a paranormal investigation for CVAPI for the last couple of days.  Although, I did manage to get your free monthly horoscopes published on time, it was already the 1st, and opted for some sleep instead.

As fall will approach fast, so will our case load at CVAPI, currently we are accepting new cases.  We will also participate in the Virginia Library Circuit on public speaking again this year. (Details soon!)  Although we have been doing this for well over 10 years now, I am continuously disappointed to see that the churches are turning these families in need away.

In other news, I do have openings for this fall for new Reiki students.  If you would like more information please feel free to contact me on my website.

Mercury Retrograde is OVER.  It ended August 18th, the time frame of the unexpected.  It will not hit again this year until November 16th through December 6th.

August has been a wonderful month in regards of me taking the time to get some projects completed.  Jaselyn is doing well and still riding horses and will soon return to pre-school.

I have had numerous clients this month with medical problems.  Actually a pretty staggering amount.  All appear to be doing what they thought was healthy.  These problems have come from mango aloe juice, coconut water and the keto diet.  So PLEASE be careful and take the time to actually LISTEN to your bodies as no one knows them better then you.

I am also looking at another new project that I hope to bring to the public soon.  (Details coming!)  Meanwhile, it has been hit or miss for your weekly videos on YouTube.  (You will get the daily videos this week, but not the weekly's.)  Weekly videos will resume mid September with weekly consistency as we close out summer.

July 2018 "Rants & Raves"

Once again I have waited until the last minute on my blog.  (Better late then never!)  It has been a busy month for me.  Work has been busy as well as I have taken care of a project at home that I have put off way too long.  Jaselyn has been out of preschool for the summer and I have spent some time with her.  And I always enjoy spending time with friends at the pool. 

                                                    

We have had an awful lot of rain this month.  This is kind of unusual because we are usually under a drought this time of year.  It has been a set back for Jaselyn and her horseback riding lessons.  Also, we have lost power almost once a week due to trees and limbs falling on the lines.

I have been really slack on my YouTube videos this month.  Thankfully you guys are keeping me busy with readings, as well as I took some time off from them just to enjoy the summer.  Tonight your videos will upload for the weekend and next week.  However, I am making no promises on them for the month of August.  Fall and winter I hibernate so videos are no problem.   Summer is my favorite season and I try to get the most out of it. 

I really appreciate all of the messages, comments and emails to check on me.  I assure you that there is nothing wrong, I have just been busy.

We are currently under Mercury Retrograde until August 18th.  This is the time of the unexpected.  This one may hit hard on mechanical breakdowns, as well as computer problems and anything to do with electronics.  On a positive note, it also brings in reuniting with people from your past.

May & June 2018 "Rants & Raves"

I missed my blog for May!  I did think about it and just kept putting it off.  May consisted of a lot of yard work and spring clean up.

Now we are officially in the first days of summer and currently under the Strawberry full moon.  (Summer is my favorite and goes by way to quick!) 

Jaselyn has started horse back riding lessons and loves it J  She is also happy to be off for the summer from her preschool.

I did take this past week off from YouTube videos to get caught up on some things.  (It happens sometimes.)  Daily and weekly videos will resume this coming Monday.

In addition to bringing classes to video, I am also working on lining up a couple of paranormal investigations for CVAPI.  Bringing those classes online has been a direct request from you, so keep your suggestions coming.  I think this is a GREAT idea because at the local level, I have many that will repeat those classes.  This will give you access to the videos anytime you would like.

I have one, (possibly two) openings for the weekly forecast and feel free to email me for more information on them. 

Coming up in July, we will enter our next Mercury Retrograde running from July 25^th to August 18^th.  Although this is not the best time frame to begin new projects, I don’t think it will be as strong as our last one.  However, it is the time of the unexpected and that includes mechanical breakdowns.

April 2018 "Rants & Raves"

Yes!  I am aware that this is the first day of May, the problem is I ran out of month in April!  April went by really quickly for me.  We spent over a week visiting family in Ringgold, GA outside of Chattanooga TN.  This was Jaselyn’s first long road trip and she did absolutely wonderful J

Thank you for your patience in allowing me to get appointments caught up.  I did combine your videos for the current week, but your individual videos for next week should publish later this evening.  You can now also watch the daily and weekly videos on a free tabloid app called TOP BUZZ. (Available on google play store)

Your May horoscopes are complete and again, they will go up on my website later this evening.

Today my day started with numerous emails on A Haunting is re airing on television.  For those interested in this particular case you can learn more about it here.  I am planning to go on YouTube live later this week on the paranormal in general.  CVAPI website will soon go under construction.

As of today, I am officially caught up on emails and appointments.  Also, don’t forget to check out Linda and Nikki on my website!

We have officially cleared Mercury Retrograde and everything should be going back to a normal stance.  The next one does not hit until July 25^th.

I am so glad to see that spring is finally here!  (Although the pollen is a little rough in my area.)  I have a lot to get done in the yard this month. 

With our trip complete, I hope to bring all classes online this month.  That is a project I will be working on throughout the month of May.

March 2018 "Rants & Raves"

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

Another month has passed by too quickly.  Our first day of spring included snow, but it appears we are entering warmer weather now.

I’m going to keep this short and simple as I have a lot to get done on the last day of the month.  March has been a month of catching up for me after being sick almost the entire month of February.

Jaselyn has been on spring break this week and I believe she has enjoyed her days off and sleeping in.  She is looking forward to the Easter bunny arriving.

Everything appears to be working fine on my website, however if you encounter a problem please let me know.

Over the next couple of weeks, I will be working to bring all classes to YouTube.  This I have been planning, it has been an issue of scheduling the time to do so.
