Happy Spring to you all!

I know it has been a very long time in my putting up posts on my blog.  I do plan to get back to this!

I would like to thank those that are dedicated to my monthly horoscopes!  You have really hung in there with me in the ordeal I have had with my websites!

As of yesterday, all three of my websites are BRAND NEW!  Rebuilt with a new host. (Finger's crossed, and let's pray together for the best!)

Gang, I am still packing a busy schedule.  My day consists of my live streams in between my readings.  As always, appointments are preferred, but not necessary.

18 years this year.....wow.  That even sounds odd when I say it outload!

Please let me know your thoughts and opinions on my new website.  I have added several new features, and think you will find it extremely user friendly.

March 2019 "Rants & Raves"

Hello spring!  I hope you all had a nice St Patty's day, and Easter is now around the corner.  Time to get your yards cleaned up and start the garden as the flowers begin to bloom.  Maybe a little spring cleaning?
With the weather beginning to break, Jaselyn is looking forward to resuming her horse back riding lessons.  Spring goes so quickly, it will be summer before we know it!

We are also coming to the end of Mercury Retrograde!  The last day is March 28th, and it generally takes a couple of days following before things go back to normal.  For those that I have spoke with, it has many on a high emotional plain.  The next Mercury Retrograde (Time of the unexpected), occurs July 8th through August 1st.  (Yes, at the time of vacation for most, lol)

All updates to my main website have been completed and so far, so good.  If you encounter any problems please email as soon as possible.  Some of the more popular items now have quick links on the homepage.

Video Readings have really taken off for those outside of the US.  Please allow at least a 48 hour turn around on these.  And of course I kept the 1-hour rate in place for spring.

CVAPI is starting to pick up with investigation requests/  We are currently reviewing those requests and getting them setup for investigations.  If you are thinking of submitting a request, do not wait too long, as spots will fill up quickly.

Your YouTube videos are now current and I have done YouTube LIVE the last couple of weeks.  This is something that I will "Try" to do each week as time will permit. 

I'm going to keep this short today. Don't forget your March horoscopes are up and your April horoscopes will post before the 1st.  I also have a couple of openings for those interested in Reiki.

January 2019 "Rants & Raves"

I feel like we just had Christmas, and already the first month of the year is over.  Happy New Year everyone!  I'm sure most of you are looking forward to the new beginnings 2019, will bring in.  It will also take some time to get used to writing 2019.  (Am I the only one catching myself still writing 2018???)

I do have some changes coming up in 2019.  First of all, many of you have pointed out that my websites still read 2018.  Thank you for that!  (You guys always keep me straight!)  It is a slow process and they will all change to read 2019 within the next week.

Next I will be adding a couple of things to the website.  I spent many years writing for Examiner and published in a couple of magazines, so I will make those articles available on the website.

As always, what I do is based on your input.  With that said, I will add a "How To" section to the website as well.  This I plan to add videos and articles to.  This will be added sometime in the month of February.

I'm also disappointed to hear that YouTube will no longer automatically post my videos to Twitter and Google Plus.  (It was a bonus in sharing those videos!)  So at this point, I do not know if I will invest the time to share them all, or just direct you straight to my channel.  (Remember to subscribe, and click on the bell for notifications when new videos go up.)

In the same turn, I am very pleased to see that my videos will now run on two free apps, available on Android and IPhone.  

The first app is TopBuzz.  A tabloid type app, full of videos and articles.  You can search for Jackie Tomlin on that app and find most of my videos.  The second is a new app of the "Daily Horoscope", (Look for the purple and yellow icon!)  This app is LOADED with information, from videos to articles.  You will find my videos under the daily horoscopes under the "More" tab.

For those that ask often, Jaselyn is doing wonderful.  She is still in preschool and visits the horse farm weekly, she will begin riding again when the weather breaks.

We are coming into the time frame that we can begin the countdown to spring!  Believe it or not, we have almost hit the halfway mark of winter, it will be spring before you know it.  I think it's funny how 60 degrees in the fall and we are ready to turn the heat on, but yet 60 degrees in the spring and we are ready to open the windows!

August 2018 "Rants & Raves"

Yes, my August blog on September 1st!  Actually I have been tied up with a paranormal investigation for CVAPI for the last couple of days.  Although, I did manage to get your free monthly horoscopes published on time, it was already the 1st, and opted for some sleep instead.

As fall will approach fast, so will our case load at CVAPI, currently we are accepting new cases.  We will also participate in the Virginia Library Circuit on public speaking again this year. (Details soon!)  Although we have been doing this for well over 10 years now, I am continuously disappointed to see that the churches are turning these families in need away.

In other news, I do have openings for this fall for new Reiki students.  If you would like more information please feel free to contact me on my website.

Mercury Retrograde is OVER.  It ended August 18th, the time frame of the unexpected.  It will not hit again this year until November 16th through December 6th.

August has been a wonderful month in regards of me taking the time to get some projects completed.  Jaselyn is doing well and still riding horses and will soon return to pre-school.

I have had numerous clients this month with medical problems.  Actually a pretty staggering amount.  All appear to be doing what they thought was healthy.  These problems have come from mango aloe juice, coconut water and the keto diet.  So PLEASE be careful and take the time to actually LISTEN to your bodies as no one knows them better then you.

I am also looking at another new project that I hope to bring to the public soon.  (Details coming!)  Meanwhile, it has been hit or miss for your weekly videos on YouTube.  (You will get the daily videos this week, but not the weekly's.)  Weekly videos will resume mid September with weekly consistency as we close out summer.

May & June 2018 "Rants & Raves"

I missed my blog for May!  I did think about it and just kept putting it off.  May consisted of a lot of yard work and spring clean up.

Now we are officially in the first days of summer and currently under the Strawberry full moon.  (Summer is my favorite and goes by way to quick!) 

Jaselyn has started horse back riding lessons and loves it J  She is also happy to be off for the summer from her preschool.

I did take this past week off from YouTube videos to get caught up on some things.  (It happens sometimes.)  Daily and weekly videos will resume this coming Monday.

In addition to bringing classes to video, I am also working on lining up a couple of paranormal investigations for CVAPI.  Bringing those classes online has been a direct request from you, so keep your suggestions coming.  I think this is a GREAT idea because at the local level, I have many that will repeat those classes.  This will give you access to the videos anytime you would like.

I have one, (possibly two) openings for the weekly forecast and feel free to email me for more information on them. 

Coming up in July, we will enter our next Mercury Retrograde running from July 25^th to August 18^th.  Although this is not the best time frame to begin new projects, I don’t think it will be as strong as our last one.  However, it is the time of the unexpected and that includes mechanical breakdowns.

December 2017 "Rants Raves"

I am wishing you all a safe and happy New Year!  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas J We all enjoyed our Christmas and Jaselyn was an angel in the Christmas play this year.   My apologies as I have still not had time to send my newsletter out, but will do so in the month of January.

The good news is this is the first year that we have not been under Mercury Retrograde on January 1^st in several years.  (This has to be a good sign as this is not the time to begin anything new.)   For those that mark your calendars, 2018 Mercury Retrograde dates are as follows:

March 22^nd to April 15^th

July 25^th to August 18^th

November 16^th to December 6^th

I will say I expect 2018 to be a very high-energy year.  I look for a lot of changes throughout the year that will appear as sudden and abrupt for most.  Although change is always good, some of the changes will not be easy.  Financially it appears as a strong year, not real strong, but strong in general.  An increase in finances for most from 2017.

Your January horoscopes will carry a bit extra of what each sign can expect in 2018. (These will post later this week.)  As well as your YouTube videos for 2018 are now available.

Most everything on my website will remain the same for 2018, with some additional options.  In January, I will be adding a couple of gifted readers with varying gifts as well.  As of now, the rates will remain the same and I will keep the 1-hour special through the month of January.  Remember my Live Calendar is the best way to see if I am available.

Also new in 2018, I have moved my Meetup Group, Central VA Psychic Development  & Paranormal Research to a Facebook Group.  Sometime in January I will be seeking investigators for CVAPI, so join the group if you have an interest in this.  There are also upcoming changes for CVAPI in 2018 as well.

Classes and workshops at the local level have always been a total success.  2018, I will expand this to online availability.  This will include the ghost hunting 101, tarot card workshops, psychic development and this year I will be adding Reiki.

It does appear that most of the changes to the website are final and are in place.  If you should come across something that is not working properly, please email me as soon as possible.  Currently the Chat Room is offline, (Chat still available on other venues), and this will be fixed in the next few days.

October 2017 "Rants & Raves"

Happy Halloween everyone!  Be safe this evening as a lot of you will be out trick or treating or attending Halloween events.  Jaselyn is excited!  She will be “Sally” from Nightmare Before Christmas, and she has her “Ghost” pumpkin ready.

Changes on my website are underway.  I had stated last month, there may be a couple of days delay in the 800#, that is fully functional now.  Most of the changes that you will see right now are just in appearance. 

The current special on the email readings expires today, so get those questions in!  The one-hour special will remain in place for the month of November.  (Don’t forget to join the app on my home page for random daily and weekly specials.)

This has been a month of a lot of people trying to hack into everything…from my social networks to my bank account and hoping this negative cycle is coming to an end!

November should be the month to get things done!  I say this because Mercury Retrograde will run from December 3^rd to December 22^nd.  The good news is that 2018 will be the first time in many years that we will NOT begin a new year under retro!

September 2017 "Rants & Raves"

September has bought us the season of fall!  This means cooler temperatures and the changing of the leaves.  (To my daughter, it means pumpkin spice EVERYTHING!)  We entered September by taking our last summer outing to Virginia Beach to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and spun of a new group of friends in Maryland.

A lot of you have noticed that the homepage of my website has taken on a different look.  There will be a lot of changes to all of my websites over the remainder of the year.  (No worries, services and rates remain the same.)  I am purging a lot of things and cleaning them up slowly.

I am excited that a new service went into place this week!  This is a FREE subscription service that will allow me to send you text messages/SMS on readings or classes.  To join

The next change is my 800#.  Now to be honest, there may be a couple of days that this number is NOT working….(I will update you here.)  If that is the case please use the alternate number instead.  A new behind the scenes platform is in progress for that number, therefore it may be down a couple of days.

My availability pretty much will remain the same for the exception of Tuesday evenings.  I will take some time off on Tuesday evenings for the next few weeks to participate in a bible study.  However, I will be available until 6pm and again after 10pm.  I highly encourage you to check my LIVE CALENDAR as it is updated often!

I also have a new project underway.  In addition I hope to start a painting project in the month of October.  (It appears my best comes out when I am busy!)

Meanwhile my family is looking forward to Halloween!  Jaselyn has already picked her costume and wants to be “Sally” from the Nightmare Before Christmas.  (She has been sick the last week and hope she feels better soon!)

April 2017 "Rants & Raves"

There is nothing like waiting until the last moment to get this done!  I almost forgot that we are less than two hours until the 1^st of May.

This month has been busy for me.  Easter came and went really quick it seems.  Jaselyn had a lot of fun at the Easter Egg Hunt as well as waiting for the Easter bunny to come.

I have checked off a lot on my “To Do” list, with some things that will roll over into the month of May.  “Change” is in the air, and I feel that not only for myself but many others.

In the month of May, I ask that you continue to check my live calendar for scheduling because the last two weeks have shown that my schedule is forever changing. I did take some time to get some things done outside this month, and have a lot more to do.  I am in the process of making some decisions on my scheduling and will keep you updated.

I am finding that I have to push back our monthly meetings, and for now I will have to continue to do so.  Readings are the first and primary for me as of now.

For the month of May, the 800# remains in place, (so far no reported problems) as well as my direct line.  If for any reason I do not answer, please give it 30 minutes and try back, chances are I am on another line.

Weather wise here, it looks like we may skip spring and go straight into summer.  (I’m fine with that as long as it’s warm!)

Don’t forget that we are under Mercury Retrograde until May 3^rd, and then generally it takes 2 to 3 days following to get everything back on track.  This retro has been about new beginnings, which is pretty opposite of most of them.  For me, it has presented mail problems, both regular mail and email.

February 2017 "Rants & Raves"

We are quickly approaching spring!  February is our shortest month of the year and it’s going by fast! I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine’s Day.

The weather here has been crazy.  There have been a lot of warm days giving me the impression that we will be in store for one hot summer.  Also, I know of many that are suffering from sinus infections and some with the flu.

In other news, I am happy to report that my daughter was Baptized in the month of February.  I am so very happy with the positive changes in her life and believe they will only get better.

As we get ready to enter the month of March, I feel like I just did the horoscopes for the first of the year!  (Your monthly horoscopes for March, will post on my website tomorrow.)  I will continue to post your free weekly horoscopes on YouTube as long as I can manage.  I do them between appointments and some weeks can be challenging to get them done.

March 12^th brings in Daylight Savings and March 20^th brings in the first day of spring.  This should be a wonderful month, as we do not go back into Mercury Retrograde until April 9^th.  I intend to get my spring newsletter out somewhere around the end of March into the first part of April and you can subscribe to that here.

Last month, due to many requests, I did put the 800# back in place.  Although this system may say I am available, I urge you to please check my live calendar as it is updated often.  For example, CVAPI has an investigation coming up this week, and I will be taking the evening off.

With so many changes that went into effect, please let me know if you run into any technical difficulties on my website.  It appears that most of the bugs have been found and fixed, but generally I am unaware until someone brings it to my attention.

December 2016 "Rants & Raves"

Christmas is this weekend!  I don’t think I have been this excited about Christmas in years.  I give that credit to Jaselyn’s three-year-old spirit running around here.  We have all had an exciting month of going to church with her, and of course the Elf on the Shelf!  (Although she was NOT happy when she caught the elf eating the Christmas cookies she had made.) The countdown for Santa to arrive is officially on and she is very excited!

A really big THANK YOU to all of you that take the time out of your day to keep us in your thoughts.  This time of year I get emails from everyone that just make all of my efforts worthwhile.  I love hearing your stories and seeing photos of your families and the recipes you send.  Totally awesome!  I also want to give a special thanks and shout out to Patty and Nikki.  (Ironically, both of these ladies are in New Jersey.)  Thank you for all that you do and for just being YOU!

Usually this is the time of year that I post my predictions for the upcoming year.  Overall, I don’t believe 2016 has been a “Bad” year, but it hasn’t been an “Easy” year in general.  I am looking for 2017 to be easier with more of a natural flow to it.  This year I have done things differently by making those predictions a little more personable by the zodiac signs.  You will find those videos on YouTube.  (Under the Channel’s playlist of 2017 predictions.)

Moving forward with 2017, your free monthly horoscopes will remain in place and you can look for an extended version in January.  NO rate increase in 2017, and new services will be offered.  There is also a directline and a live calendar, where you can reach me most anytime.  As always, for this time of year, the Holiday Specials are on my homepage under the Christmas Tree.  (12-month email report has around a 2-day wait on them.)

I am seeking those that would like to give me permanent feedback that would include your first name and the state you are in.  This will replace the achieved feedback of many years on the site. (It is slowing the website down.)  I am pleased to say that most of the changes are now in place.

October 2016 "Rants & Raves"

It has been yet another busy month of working on projects and getting things done.  I did take a little time to have some fun with my daughter and granddaughter this month.  We spent a couple of days in Williamsburg, Virginia and had a blast.  Although it is fall, I am grateful that we had perfect weather to take Jaselyn out on the Jamestown Ferry and let her see the James River.

This was our last official “Outing” as we settle into the month of November for Jaselyn’s birthday party and Thanksgiving.

I know many of you are sticking with me with the issues on my website.  I am pleased to announce that all changes will now be made no later then the month of December!!!!  This has been a long wait, with a delay that I will be able to explain in the next upcoming weeks.  Thank you so much for your patience and if you are having problems or find that something is not working correctly please contact me at once. I have heard from many of you that have stated that the navigation has changed and there is some confusion on what line to call.  The cheapest line to call is the 804number.  I know this has confused many, but trust me when I say “There is always a reason for my madness” and I will discuss this at a later date!

September 2016 "Rants & Raves"

September is an amazing month of closing out summer and the beginning of fall.  I think it is funny how we go from the beach and the pool to pumpkin spice everything!  In addition to taking a few days off this month, it was also my daughter’s birthday.  Although I am looking forward to the leaves change, it does sadden me to close the pool as it is the official sign of cold weather to come.

As we enter fall, it is that time of year when we get geared up on our paranormal investigations.  We did complete one in August (the website will be updated soon), and returned to that location this month. 

On this investigation we returned with XL-102’s Alex Mac and a special guest of Kat Simmons from Mix 98.1.  We are currently helping XL-102 put together a video for their website, and will have them join us on another investigation as well.

I am often presented with the question of do I think paranormal activity increases this time of year.  Honestly, I don’t.  I believe that people are more inside this time of year and maybe start noticing things that they had not before.  The same as I don’t find it to be true that activity only occurs at night, when in fact much occurs during the day.  The only reason we investigate at night is due to the sensitivity of the night vision cameras will tend to pick up more.

This has been an extremely busy month for me.  In addition to the beach, we had friends visit from New Jersey, some local friends visit and an investigation.  I’m not sure how, but I have also kept my normal working schedule as well.

The best times to reach me are between the hours of 1pm and 1am, and weekends it will vary.  However, there is a live calendar on my website that will let you know if I am available. 

Upcoming I will be in Williamsburg, Virginia October 16^th & 17^th.  I have 30 minute and one hour sessions open, so email me for details. 

For those that I have talked to or you have messaged me about Reiki, now is a good time to get started!  If you know me well, you know it remains a big part of my life and I enjoy it tremendously.

We have officially cleared Mercury Retrograde and for some of you it packed a powerful punch.  The next Retro is December 20^th to January 9^th.

July 2016 "Rants & Raves"

I hope you are all enjoying the summer months.  I know many of you are struggling with the heat.  Just remember there will be snow on the ground in a matter of a few short weeks!  I will take the heat over the snow anytime!

Between the rain at the beginning of the season and the heat index, Jaselyn’s garden has struggled this year, but appears to finally be on track.  I also took the time this month to reconnect with some family members that I have not seen in years.  We have had a couple of wonderful visits.

My apologies to the locals as I did not have time to schedule a meeting for Central Virginia Psychic Development & ParanormalResearch as I had planned.  In all honesty, I am unsure if will be able to set this up in the month of August, but I will do what I can.  I had a few days that I was not feeling well, however I am all caught up now.

December 2014 "Rants & Raves"

Is everyone ready for Christmas?  As of today, YES I finally am!  Though we put our Christmas tree up at the beginning of the month, I cannot believe it is the week of Christmas.   Our cat, Roxy, enjoys the tree as much as Jaselyn.

The plan this year is to stick close to home and let Jaselyn enjoy her toys.  I know I have spoke to some of you that will be traveling over the holidays and I wish you all a safe trip.

I was hoping to get a newsletter out this month, but now that looks more like the first part of the year.  To join the mailing list, please email me at Jackie@ms-swami.com.

I will be available for both of the upcoming holidays.  (A couple of hours off here and there.)  And, for the first time, I am taking the month of January off from paranormal investigations.  (A much needed break!) I am pleased that we have another local, reliable team if anything should come up in January.   January I plan to keep up with my psychic readings, Reiki students, and continue to work on my writing project.  (As well as hibernate from any bad weather we may have!)

Don’t forget that when your January horoscopes post, there will be an extra line or two of what you can expect for the upcoming year.

Just what can you expect in 2015?  Actually, pretty much a repeat of this year but stronger in the area of finances.  A LOT of reconnections from the past.  Both people and places.  Also for a lot of you that don’t travel often, there is a lot of travel upcoming in 2015.  Overall, a good year ahead!

For myself, I would have to say that 2014 has been one of the better years for me.  It has been a productive year both personally and professionally and I hope 2015 is even better.  It has been wonderful having Jaselyn around.  My daughter has us establishing new family traditions and I have enjoyed both of them tremendously.

So what do I have planned for 2015?  First and foremost, psychic readings and some updates to my websites. I plan to kick off the first of the year with another Tarot Card Workshop in January.  I have a couple of paranormal investigations that we will do in February and March and start setting up for spring.  I am in process of ideas for Central Virginia Psychic Development &Paranormal Research.  I have a book that should publish in the spring.  (Possibly two, in 2015.)  And there are three separate discussions of filming projects in 2015.  (I will see where that goes, and keep you posted!)  My monthly horoscopes and the monthly blog will stay in place.  Though CVAPI’s YouTube channel stays updated, I hope to work on mine as well.  Oh yeah, VACATION!  I plan to work that as well!  And on a personal note, I have two rooms that I plan to paint.  Of course I always have a new idea or two that I am kicking around as well.

November 2014 "Rants & Raves"

I hope this finds that each and every one of you has had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are now preparing for Christmas!

It is hard to believe that on November 22^nd, we celebrated Jaselyn’s first birthday.  (That first year has flown by!)  It is funny how a new baby in the family can bring about new family traditions.

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving with my daughter and granddaughter.  A LOT of food, enjoying the Macy’s Parade, and just some good family time.  I was also able to work in a couple of psychic readings Thanksgiving Day.  Honestly, I feel truly blessed in being able to say that I have too many things that I am grateful for to be able to list!

With all of the commotion of a big birthday party, we are waiting a week before digging out the Christmas tree.  Between our cat and a one-year old that should be an adventure in itself!  I am enjoying our new tradition of “Elf on a Shelf”.  Her name is “Sugar plum” and she can turn up anywhere!

The month of December, the plan is for psychic readings and picking up on some of my writing.  (We do have one paranormal investigation to knock out this week.)  And….my birthday is in December!!!!  (A shout out to all of the Sagittarius out there!)

I do have a couple of specials that will remain in place for the holidays.  The one-hour psychicreading will remain at a reduced rate as well as the Distant Learning Coursefor Reiki Certifications.  I would also like to thank my daughter for her hard work on beginning a new shop on my website! ( I do tend to throw out some random specials on Twitter during the month.)

I do remain available during the holidays, though sometimes it may be later in the evening.  As always the best times to reach me are between 1pm to 1am. 

As we approach Christmas, please be mindful of the scams out there!  Check out this email I got today…(I removed the senders name.)

I guess they forgot that their psychic’s address was in their address book.  And you better believe I replied!  That person is no more at an embassy or robbed than I am!  My heart goes out to anyone that has been scammed.

I do understand that some of you suffer from the “Holiday Blues”.  Please remember that this is ONLY a brief time in the year!  I get a lot of callers from those that don’t want to be alone.  (I would like to remind you that there are worse things in life than being alone!  You could be in some needless drama instead.)

The holidays are what YOU make of them.  Join the shopping crowds and make yourself a stocking, or a stocking for your coworkers or pets.  VOLUNTEER!  Shelters, food banks etc.   Sometimes the greatest gift is giving back to others!  Or simply get out and enjoy the Christmas lights.  It is all up to you.

October "Rants & Raves"

I cannot believe we are at the end of October.  I feel like I have been in a whirlwind since August.  However, I am pleased, as I have accomplished a lot in a very short time frame.

We have logged another investigation in Downtown Richmond, for WRIC Channel 8.  That story will air sometime this week.  For those out of the area, I will see if I can find an online link to the story or get it up on my website.

I do have a couple of more investigations to complete before the year ends.  Our next Ghost Hunting 101 presentation is Tuesday November 11^th at Pamunkey Library in Mechanicsville, Virginia at 6pm.  If you have never been, please come by.  There is a LOT of information packed into a 2-hour presentation.

It does appear that the call for Virginia this winter is “Wet and white”.  I hope to take some time off from investigating the first of the year, to allow me to catch up on some other things.  The weather here this month has been perfect, I have no complaints!

I am sooo looking forward to Halloween!  It is a shame that it is not a weeklong holiday!  (There is nothing better than dressing up and candy!)  This year my daughter and I will be taking Jaselyn for her first Halloween.  She is dressing up as her all time favorite….Spongebob.

I finally feel like I have made some head way in accomplishing some things around my home.  Of course, there are still a few projects left, but the big ones are done!

I have had a couple of emails this month regarding that I was going to stop publishing the monthly horoscopes.  I am not sure where these rumors get started, but it is just that!  I will continue to publish the monthly horoscopes, both at Examiner and to my website.

Now that my schedule is dieing down with the paranormal for the year, I may very well begin making some changes to my website.   (There is a new store going up, and that link will be added soon!)

Psychic readings are always first in my priorities.  The best time to reach me remains between 1pm and 1am.  I do get backed up on emails from time to time, but for the most part you should not have more than a 24-hour wait.

I am in process of putting together the next Tarot Card Workshop for the month of November.  This will go up on my website soon and generally fill up quickly!

August 2014 "Rants & Raves"

The end of August, that is so hard to believe!  The holidays will be here before you know it! (I am still noticing a lot of signs of an early fall.)

This has been a busy month of trying to pull things together for a schedule for the fall.  I do have another Tarot Card Workshop coming up in the month of September.  (Date pending.)  I will get information out on this as soon as I can.

I am very pleased to see “A Haunting” air this month on Destination America.  The episode “Demons Revenge” was probably the best case that we had.  (There is a blog posted on that case.)  I was also shocked to see that Demon’s Exorcist, from 4 years ago has aired on Destination America this month as well.  (Both of these families are doing great now!)

I had put out a request on Facebook that I am looking for someone local that I have read for that would not mind being filmed.  I have filled that with a couple of back ups and I appreciate all of you that responded!

I am getting several inquiries on Central Virginia PsychicDevelopment & Paranormal Research.  It is indeed my fault that we have not had a meeting recently.  I am currently working on another project that has prevented me from scheduling a date, due to having dates available for this as well. 

Tentatively the plan is to move forward with the Tarot Workshop in September and a Reiki Workshop for certifications.  The month of October by all means, will have something to do with the paranormal.  And for those interested, the next public presentation of Ghost Hunting101, will be held in Mechanicsville in November.

This month, I have had numerous questions asked about psychic readings as well as the paranormal, so I want to address them here.

Is there a waiting list for a paranormal investigation?

Yes, sometimes there is.  Extreme cases generally come first and I may have to move someone back. 

Do you only take cases that are considered to be demonic?

No.  90% of our investigations are nothing more than to see if we can confirm paranormal activity.

How much equipment do you take with you?

It depends on the case.  The majority of the time, most, if not all of the equipment does go out with us.  This includes a surveillance system that runs 9 cameras.

Do you only take local cases?

Preferably, but other locations are considered.

When is the best time to catch you for a psychic reading?

Between the hours of 1pm to 1am.

Are your psychic readings cheaper in person?

No.  Although special rates are given for an hour session.

Do you run specials on your psychic readings?

Randomly.  They are posted on Twitter.

Can I split a session with a friend?

For 30 minutes or an hour, YES.  For 15 minutes or an email/chat, NO.

Do you take walk-ins?

NO.

I have so many of you that inquire about Jaselyn and she has just turned 9 months old.  I took some time off Monday to go with her and my daughter to the county fair and we ALL had a blast!  Currently I believe my daughter is planning her first birthday party.  Jaselyn also won her first pageant this month.

For those of you that missed “A Haunting” Destination America will rerun that episode this Sunday night the 31^st at 10pm.  (I am more than pleased to see that New Dominion Pictures did a great job on Tiffany’s story!)

As of today, I am finally caught up on emails!  (If I missed yours, please let me know.)  I am currently on a normal schedule and getting ready for horoscopes for September this weekend.

July 2014 "Rants & Raves"

Funny how I got up this morning thinking I would go ahead and write my blog, and here it is 10:30 at night.  Another month has been flying by.  However, Virginia weather has not been all that bad for the month of July.  Unfortunately, I am beginning to see signs of an early fall.

We had family come in from Florida and stay with us this month.  Jaselyn was so good!  (But she always is!)  I also went to a brunch and saw some friends that I had not been able to see in months.  It’s so good to reconnect!  I hope to end the summer with having a get together here.  I am also VERY grateful for a friend showing up at 9:30pm last night to cut our grass!  (Yes, I broke the lawn mower.)  Even though it was cut at night, I have to admit it looks better than me doing it in the daylight!

I have not had a vacation yet.  I hope to sneak away for a couple of days in August, but we will see how that goes.  The month of August is when I try to line up events for the fall.  In November, CVAPI will appear at Pamunkey Library in Mechanicsville VA for Ghost Hunting 101, free to the public.  We also have several pending investigations coming up.

This Friday, August 1^st, one of our best cases will air on “A Haunting” on Destination America at 10PM.  The episode is called “Demons Revenge” and I am very excited to see it!  (I do plan to post more about that particular case at a later date.) 

I can share with you a funny thing about filming.  They picked me up at 6:30AM.  Twenty minutes after leaving my home I was asked, what was I wearing?  (It was February and I had on a coat.)  Well, I apparently had on the wrong color.  (Nope didn’t get the email on hair, makeup and wardrobe.)  So they want me in a solid color coral shirt.  I don’t even OWN a coral shirt!  So, the next plan is to delay filming, wait for the department stores to open and go shopping.  I placed a call to my daughter who called me back to say, “Good news, I have one solid color coral shirt”.  “And better yet, IT”S CLEAN.”  So thanks to my daughter filming went as scheduled.  It was probably sometime around lunch time (Or when I actually woke up), that I asked, “Why a coral shirt?”  Because it works with my complexion, hair, lighting, background, etc etc.  And a free fashion tip on the color palette that works for me.  So what did I learn?  I have been wearing the WRONG colors all of my life!  I have since tried to add those colors to my wardrobe.  (And I still don’t own a coral shirt).  But I have to ask…..How many of you could pull out a solid color coral shirt from your closet at 6:30AM?? ?

So for the month of July I have hit the cardio workouts harder than normal.  I must say a pedometer is the best investment EVER!  It will certainly show you how much, or how little you actually move in a day.  Not to mention that I sleep much better.  (Which is always a problem for me anyway.)

I have certified two in Reiki this month.  The Rieki course remains on sale until the end of July.  On a suggestion from one that is currently taking the course, I may very well set up a forum for Reiki so you may interact with one another.  (YES, I do promise I will get to the blog on Reiki!)
