January 2017 "Rants & Raves"
Happy New Year everyone!
It is always nice to see the start of a new year to see what this year
will bring in.
This has been a crazy busy month for me. Mostly paperwork. Closing out 2016 and my daughter’s accounting as well. We did see a good snow in January and I
imagine that we will see one more in February.
Although I am not fond of cold weather spring will be here in just a few
weeks!
The majority of the changes are now in place on my
website. After many requests, I have
reinstated the 800# at the regular rate. (I will keep this as long as we do not
run into any technical problems.) There
will be no rate increase for 2017.
The best time to catch me is between 1pm and 1am. However, I am starting a new project in the
month of February, so I may eventually change this. There is always a live calendar to show when I am available.
I plan to bring the Meetups back with Central VA PsychicDevelopment & Paranormal Research.
Since February is a short month, I will probably go ahead and schedule
this for the month of March.
For those of you interested in Reiki, this is an excellent
time to get started! This is the first
time in awhile that I have everyone caught up on their certifications. If you have any questions you can email me

December 2016 "Rants & Raves"
Christmas is this weekend!
I don’t think I have been this excited about Christmas in years. I give that credit to Jaselyn’s
three-year-old spirit running around here.
We have all had an exciting month of going to church with her, and of
course the Elf on the Shelf! (Although
she was NOT happy when she caught the elf eating the Christmas cookies she had
made.) The countdown for Santa to arrive is officially on and she is very
excited!
A really big THANK YOU to all of you that take the time out
of your day to keep us in your thoughts.
This time of year I get emails from everyone that just make all of my
efforts worthwhile. I love hearing your
stories and seeing photos of your families and the recipes you send. Totally awesome! I also want to give a special thanks and shout out to Patty and
Nikki. (Ironically, both of these
ladies are in New Jersey.) Thank you
for all that you do and for just being YOU!
Usually this is the time of year that I post my predictions
for the upcoming year. Overall, I don’t
believe 2016 has been a “Bad” year, but it hasn’t been an “Easy” year in
general. I am looking for 2017 to be
easier with more of a natural flow to it.
This year I have done things differently by making those predictions a
little more personable by the zodiac signs.

Moving forward with 2017, your free monthly horoscopes will
remain in place and you can look for an extended version in January. NO rate increase in 2017, and new services
will be offered. There is also a directline and a live calendar, where you can reach me most anytime. As always, for this time of year, the
Holiday Specials are on my homepage under the Christmas Tree. (12-month email report has around a 2-day
wait on them.)
I am seeking those that would like to give me permanent
feedback that would include your first name and the state you are in. This will replace the achieved feedback of
many years on the site. (It is slowing the website down.) I am pleased to say that most of the changes
are now in place.

April 2016 "Rants & Raves"
The last day of April…this year is flying by! Today is the beginning of Mercury
Retrograde, running through May 25th. As you know, this is the moon phases where you can expect the
unexpected. This one appears to be
strong in the financial sector, with a lot of scattered energy in the personal
sector. This is also a time frame of
renewals of past acquaintances.
My websites are still under a major overhaul. Do not be surprised if you come across some
links that are not working or you find them “Under Construction.” (And I finally have new photos for it,
YAY!) Every month, I hear stories of
those that have either fallen victim to scams, or been approached by them. This has inspired me to post several of
those “Common Scams” here.
It has been a productive month for me in working on my “To
Do List”. I did take the time last
weekend for a Meetup at the Dooley Mansion at Maymont Park, and thank you to
those that attended. Tomorrow (Sunday
May 1st) there is a picnic at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond. This is not sponsored or hosted by me, but
by Hollywood Cemetery. This is an
annual event for them with food trucks, so if you’re local please join them.
I have dedicated a lot of my time this month to taking care
of some odds and ends. I am hoping this
will allow me to settle in for some writing this summer! (Including getting Jaselyn’s garden
started.)

October 2015 "Rants & Raves"
Hello October! I
have spoken with many of you that are reporting electronic problems and have an
overall feeling of the energy just being “Odd”. We did end Mercury Retrograde this month. However, we did not come out of the shadow
of Mercury until this past Saturday on October 24th. What does this mean? It means the odd energy that you have felt
should begin to fade away and balance should be restored.
Happy Halloween to those of you I have not spoke with. Halloween is this Saturday! I am excited to go trick or treating with
Jaselyn this year and am hoping for good weather.
Also it is time to “Fall Back”. This Sunday, November 1st we gain an hour so don’t
forget to move your clocks back!
With encouragement from a friend, I have started a weekly
forecast video for the month of October.
You may find the link to these videos on the YouTube icon on my
homepage, or a link on my horoscopes page.
I am also linking those videos right here on the blog each week. These are just broad generalized readings on
what you can expect in the week ahead.
I will change things up from time to time. (This coming week will include blasts for Gemini and
Sagittarius.) I am getting some good
feedback on these; so let me hear from you so I will know that you are watching!
I have also spent a lot of time on my email list in cleaning
it up. Don’t forget that I now offer
you a free Subscription for the horoscopes.
I will be sending out a newsletter in the month of November. I had stopped these for a while and I see
that many of you miss them. Make sure I
have your email address to get on that list!
My schedule has been a little crazy this month taking care
of several things at once. I had
planned on a couple of local events in the month of November. However it does look like I will have to
postpone these for now. (I also had to
postpone an event in the month of October.)
In other news, I know I have mentioned a book I was working
on in more then one occasion. I am
happy to report that it is finished! It
is currently with the editor as we speak as I move on to the cover! I am so excited about this! To those of you who have never wrote a book,
I have to say it leaves you with an incredible feeling when it’s done! And to those of you who are thinking about writing a book,
JUST DO IT!
I will have more information for you in the next two weeks
ahead on this. (So check back here, or
email me directly at Jackie@ms-swami.com) It is a paranormal thriller, (not a horror)
that I am pleased with. Upcoming I will
have the date it will be released as well as the information for
pre-orders.
I am in the process of making some changes to my
website. You may have noticed a couple
of pages are under construction. This
should be taken care of in the next few weeks.
Meanwhile, if you find something is not working properly PLEASE let me
know. This is generally the only way I
know is when someone tells me!

August 2015 "Rants & Raves"
Hello Super Moon!
Yes, we are under the Super Moon as of last night. This may very well create some restless or
scattered energy in you for the next few days.
(Some are emotional as well!)
August has been a wonderful month. I find it hard to believe that we are now entering the final days
of summer! Although a busy month, I
have managed to get a lot done.
Including the installation of Windows 10. (So far, so good!)
I did take a weekend off for a quick getaway with my
daughter and granddaughter to rent a cabin at a local lake. (That weekend went by way too fast!)
In addition, we did receive some sad news from a friend in
Texas and the loss of her daughter. (You remain in our prayers.)
I am taking my vacation in “Spurts” this year in order to keep
up with my appointments as well as Jaselyn.
We do have another weekend getaway lined up in September, as well as
some friends coming to visit from out of state. I am also excited because our County Fair is here as well!
(Jaselyn loved this last year!)
As we enter the month of September, I wish all of you a
happy and safe holiday weekend as we approach Labor Day. I also want to give a shout out to my
daughter, as her birthday is September 6th. (A Virgo.)
The third and final Mercury Retrograde hits in the month of
September, running from September 17th to October 9th. This is the time of the “Unexpected” and to
be honest, the energy is a little odd on this one. Also in September, we welcome the first day of fall on September
23rd. This means cooler
temperatures, and pumpkin spiced EVERYTHING.
Unfortunately this also means that we have to convert the
backyard to our fall setup. (Something
I am NOT looking forward to.)
Looking out into the winter months, the Farmer’s Almanac is
predicting a rough winter for most of us.
They say that most of the country will see a White Christmas this
year. (I can handle the snow, but not
the ice.)
As most of you know, I am now accepting Subscriber’s to the
monthly horoscopes, blogs, articles, etc.
This has caused me to go to a conversion process on my email to better
accommodate my Subscriber’s. My email

I am beginning to line things up for the fall months. Ghost Hunting 101 is being setup for the
month of October as well as another Tarot Card Workshop in the month of

Also in the fall, it appears that there will be a new
promotion on the Reiki Course before I retire this edition.
Other then that, the fall will be full of psychic readings,
accounting, my book and investigations.
(Pretty much normal stuff for me!) Let's not forget Halloween! (The opportunity to be a big kid!)
