I know it has been a very long time in my putting up posts on my blog.  I do plan to get back to this!

I would like to thank those that are dedicated to my monthly horoscopes!  You have really hung in there with me in the ordeal I have had with my websites!

As of yesterday, all three of my websites are BRAND NEW!  Rebuilt with a new host. (Finger's crossed, and let's pray together for the best!)

Gang, I am still packing a busy schedule.  My day consists of my live streams in between my readings.  As always, appointments are preferred, but not necessary.

18 years this year.....wow.  That even sounds odd when I say it outload!

May 2017 "Rants & Raves"

I hope this finds most of you with a short work week, as many of you were off for Memorial Day.
Jaselyn had a blast at a children's cookout at church, followed by some water fun at home.  Good times!

Spring is almost over as we head into summer on June 21st.

On a whole, the next few weeks look pretty awesome for everyone, with a lot of new beginnings in the zodiac signs.  

I have stayed pretty busy this month with readings and getting the yard setup for summer.  Of course, I have also taking some time off to spend with friends and had a lot of fun too!  As I type this, it has been a busy day, and the day is not over for me yet, so I will keep this short and sweet.

As many of you know, I have reinstated the 800# on the website, as you requested and things have gone along pretty smoothly.  If you do encounter a problem please email me asap so I can get tech support on it!

If you are trying to reach me please check my live calendar, this is updated often.  Also if I do not pick up, chances are I am on another line, so try back in or around 30 minutes.

NEW IN JUNE!  By request, I have reduced the rate for One-Hour readings.  I did this almost two years ago with great success.  (I will allow you to split this with one friend, in the same hour session.)

I am also continuing with the weekly videos on YouTube, and to be honest, they take A LOT of time, but somehow I am getting them done. (I am also having a LOT of fun with YouTube Live!) Don't forget to visit my website for your free monthly horoscope for the month of June.

November 2016 "Rants & Raves"

I have had so much going on this month, that I feel like I have missed the entire month of November!

November 22^nd, the first day of Sagittarius, Jaselyn turned three!  She is so cute and super sweet.  (Prejudiced I know!)  She had a cute little princess party for her birthday.  This was quickly followed by Thanksgiving.  We had some friends join us this year and really had a great time!

The month ended for me with the final step on my business.  (This has taken months!)  The end result has left me as being the only licensed psychic in my County.  Although I have always had my business license since 2006, it was classified differently as a home business even though the classification stated psychic and tarot card reader.  The first of the year, I had to change the company name, and this created changes with the business as well.

All across the country we have this “Fortune Teller Ordinance”.  The one in my County was adopted in 1940, and I am the first to go through with the entire process.  Although it took a lot of money, meetings and a lot of steps to follow, it is a “Do able” process. I am discouraged to find that many have inquired about it but chosen not to go through with it. I can say that every County Official I met with was more then willing to help me through this.  (I also wondered if this was adopted in my Great Grandmother’s era, as 1940 would have been when she worked as a psychic out of Richmond.)

In case your wondering….I DO support the ordinance.  The industry is 80% shady, unfortunate but true, and I remain and advocate against Psychic Scams.

The change in my business was due to Identity Theft, and this I would wish upon no one!  This has been a year of in and out of attorney’s offices and courtrooms, and it’s not over yet. It appears that some of this may be wrapped up in December while some will carry forward into the New Year.

This also prompted change in the business due to a “Chronic complainer” in the County. (It does make you wonder why an individual feels they know more about me or my business then the County does.)  Is this the same person responsible for my Identity Theft?  There have been numerous investigations at many levels so I am sure it will all come out eventually.

The end result, all of my websites are changing back to NORMAL!  Thank you all for your patience on this and to my surprise many of you had not even noticed until I pointed it out to you.

Overall, this has not been a “Bad” year, but rather a year of cleaning up messes created by someone else, and a really good learning experience.   On the financial end of things, it has hit hard, in addition I have to get ready to repay a lot of these fees in the month of January.  A GoFundMe has been set up in an effort to help me keep things under control.

Also new to the website, I have only had a few of you request or inquire, but I am now set up to process American Express and Discover!  Don’t forget, the best times to reach me are between 1pm to 1am EST.

February 2016 "Rants & Raves"

Amazing how I have been meaning to write my blog for the last few days and just finding time to get to it.  Although we gained an extra day this year in February, it does appear that the month has flown by!

I hope you all had a great Valentine’s day and are now getting ready for St. Patrick’s Day.

I apologize to those that subscribe to my blog and the monthly horoscopes.  I generally email these out, however I simply ran out of time.

For those that have purchased my book, THANK YOU!  I am REALLY enjoying hearing your feedback.  (That certainly does help me with the sequel!) 

Also a big THANK YOU, in working with me on the transitions to my website this month.  This is the first month that I have weeded out the 800# for psychic readings.  This process is going well!  Please remember that paypal will remain an option for you and is backed by MasterCard.

For those that are using the Call Now option, there is a live calendar on that page.  It updates several times a day.  If you need a specific time, please let me know.  It will also give you an idea of when I am available and when I am not.

We are officially on the countdown until spring!  However, if you are in the Virginia area, do not be surprised to see snow on and off throughout the month.  Hang in there it is almost over!

January 2016 "Rants & Raves"

Happy New Year!  It is hard to believe that we are coming up on the end of the first month of 2016.  I am expecting that this will be a great year, a lot of changes, but a great year.

If you are on the East Coast, I am certain that you are over the snow!  However, I have to say I am looking for another blast in a couple of weeks.  (And hopefully not ice!)

We have cleared Mercury Retrograde!  (Ended on the 25^th)  Although it may take a few days to clear the effects from it completely.

For those that follow my blog, you have heard a lot about my book.  It has finally been released!  You will find a preview of Chapter One here, as well as it is available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle.

Though it features a bride on the cover, it is NOT a paranormal romance.  (An example of a paranormal romance would be a vampire that falls in love with someone.)  Twist of Events is a fiction thriller that has to do with a group of ghost hunters.  It is all about those ghost hunters and the location.  (With a few unexpected twists along the way, hence the title.)  There is no “horror” to the book, but does include some paranormal activity.

For those that have read it, or currently reading it, I thank you so much!  Please remember that those Amazon reviews are crucial in this starting out.  I am also willing to hear from you as the sequel is underway. Also, if you are aware of someone that does book reviews, please feel free to email me at Jackie@ms-swami.com.

However, between now and the sequel, there will be another publication.  I am currently working with my daughter on a Planner, a daily organizer, that will be available sooner then I expected.  More on this soon!  (But I can say, you will be able to start it any month of the year!)

This year is my 10^th year in business!  With that a lot of changes are occurring.  Some on the backside of things and some you will begin to see on my websites.  In the next week or so, you will see some different changes in those of you that call in.  The 800# I use, I am eliminating.  As some of you know, I had a lot of technical difficulties with this service in 2015.  (Also a lot of expense.)  Therefore a new option will be put in place.

Also I am expanding my merchant services with Mastercard and Visa.  For those that are fond of PayPal I am keeping that in place as well.  I have been with them for 10 years, they are backed by Mastercard and I have received great service from them. 

In addition, I a lot of you prefer appointments.  There will be a system in place, allowing you to pay 24-hours prior to your appointment will show you my availability and will do the time conversions for you.  So a lot of subtle changes, that will hopefully be improvements.

In regards to YouTube, I will still continue to upload videos.  I am not certain if this will be weekly or monthly, but I am continuing to use that YouTube channel.

Your free monthly horoscopes will continue to post on my website the first of each month.  That will not change.  Currently there is an extended version up for the month of January.

February 2015 "Rants & Raves"

I hope that the month of February finds you all doing well.  Mercury Retrograde ended on February 11^th, and I am getting a lot of people reporting that they are glad its over. (Next Mercury Retrograde is May 18th to June 11th).

For a lot of us the month of February has bought SNOW.  We had our “Large” snow last week, and other then a few flurries; I hope that is the end of it!  My heart goes out to all of you up North, as this has been a rough winter for you.

Unfortunately, little Jaselyn did not get to play in the snow.  She has two ear infections and a sinus infection and on the road to recovery.  She does enjoy standing at the door and it’s the first thing she needs to check on each day.  Today she appears a bit confused as it is melting away.

February also brings Valentine’s Day, to which I hope you all enjoyed!  I received a special coffee cup with Jaselyn’s hand print on it and flowers and a stuffed bear from my daughter.

On that note, I want to discuss “Soul Mates” and “Twin Flames”.  I have a lot of you reference both of these.  The truth is, these are generally the most difficult relationships that present a number of problems.  So for those of you that are searching for your soul mate or twin flame, you would be better off searching for someone with long-term compatibility!

CVAPI has wrapped up another paranormal investigation this month, and will be onto the next one in March.  Upcoming with Central Virginia Psychic Development & ParanormalResearch in the month of March, will be another tour of Hollywood Cemetery.  So if you are local, I hope you will join us!

We are still getting a phenomenal amount of requests for negative haunts.  This is NOT our specialty, although television has put us out there as just that.

I did hold the Tarot Card Workshop last Saturday.  At one time I thought I was going to have to reschedule due to the snow lingering around, but was able to move forward with it.  I do get a lot of requests for this and hope to be able to host another one in the summer.

As we all look forward to spring, I am seeing an increased number in the people that are interested in Reiki.  I love, love, love seeing this!  It amazes me how something so simple can be so effective.  I also get a lot of reports of people being interested, but “Overwhelmed” at the same time.  I put the “Simplicity of Reiki” out there for that reason.  It will give you a good summary of what it is, and how it works.  I still offer theReiki Course, but am considering retiring that edition in the next year.

As most of you know, I have spent the winter months working on a writing project of my first novel.  If all goes well, it is a “possibility” that it will be ready for pre-order in the month of April.  I will keep you posted.

I have to say that I am extremely proud of my daughter for starting her own business this month with Origami Owl!  This is something she has been interested in for the last couple of years.  For those of you who have never heard of it, please check out her website. They offer lockets with charms to fill them, as well as charm bracelets and earrings and just a bunch of cool stuff.  (YES I have made my “Wish list”!)  It is funny how things change over the years….you can now “Host” a party online on Facebook and still receive your hostess awards.  I am wishing her all the best on this new adventure!

Introduction

Well most of you from my website know that I had a blog that I am now moving to this blog. (Change is good!) Actually it looks like I can do a lot more with this blog verses the old one.

So, to my new readers, a little about who I am. My name is Jackie, I work under the nickname of Ms Swami, and have for years. (That name was given to me by a family friend.)
