December 2017 "Rants Raves"

I am wishing you all a safe and happy New Year!  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas J We all enjoyed our Christmas and Jaselyn was an angel in the Christmas play this year.   My apologies as I have still not had time to send my newsletter out, but will do so in the month of January.

The good news is this is the first year that we have not been under Mercury Retrograde on January 1^st in several years.  (This has to be a good sign as this is not the time to begin anything new.)   For those that mark your calendars, 2018 Mercury Retrograde dates are as follows:

March 22^nd to April 15^th

July 25^th to August 18^th

November 16^th to December 6^th

I will say I expect 2018 to be a very high-energy year.  I look for a lot of changes throughout the year that will appear as sudden and abrupt for most.  Although change is always good, some of the changes will not be easy.  Financially it appears as a strong year, not real strong, but strong in general.  An increase in finances for most from 2017.

Your January horoscopes will carry a bit extra of what each sign can expect in 2018. (These will post later this week.)  As well as your YouTube videos for 2018 are now available.

Most everything on my website will remain the same for 2018, with some additional options.  In January, I will be adding a couple of gifted readers with varying gifts as well.  As of now, the rates will remain the same and I will keep the 1-hour special through the month of January.  Remember my Live Calendar is the best way to see if I am available.

Also new in 2018, I have moved my Meetup Group, Central VA Psychic Development  & Paranormal Research to a Facebook Group.  Sometime in January I will be seeking investigators for CVAPI, so join the group if you have an interest in this.  There are also upcoming changes for CVAPI in 2018 as well.

Classes and workshops at the local level have always been a total success.  2018, I will expand this to online availability.  This will include the ghost hunting 101, tarot card workshops, psychic development and this year I will be adding Reiki.

It does appear that most of the changes to the website are final and are in place.  If you should come across something that is not working properly, please email me as soon as possible.  Currently the Chat Room is offline, (Chat still available on other venues), and this will be fixed in the next few days.

November 2017 "Rants & Raves"

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  My daughter cooked for the first time this year and we had a nice visit from friends.  Jaselyn also had her 4^th birthday.  (According to her she is now grown!)  So now onto Christmas…

We have our chocolate Advent calendar and are ready to start the countdown on December 1^st.  So far, we have had both warm days and cooler days in fall.  The ground is covered in leaves, but our trees are still full.

Do not forget the first day of winter is December 21^st!  Also, we will enter the last Mercury Retrograde of the year, running from December 2^nd through December 22^nd.  Although this is the time of the “Unexpected”, it does look like this one may also bring in new opportunities, and on the negative side, a powerful punch on electronics.  However, 2018 will be the first New Year that we haven’t started the year under Mercury Retrograde in several years.

In between readings, I have spent the last few weeks, getting ready for some changes in 2018.  Although the appearance of my main website is beginning to change, you can expect other changes as well.  The numbers and services will pretty much remain the same. 

2018 will push me into my 12-year anniversary.  So in January (possibly in December) I will be adding psychics to my site.  This will allow me to spend some more time on some video work I have been putting off, as well as help me establish working hours for myself.  This WILL NOT be a “Psychic for hire” site, the ones that I am adding are hand picked by me, read for me as well, and are located across the United States. 

My availability will not change.  I will be available for part of the holidays as well, and I always recommend you check my live calendar as it is updated often throughout the day. 

There will be more changes to come in 2018 that I will discuss as the time draws near.  There will also be changes made to CVAPI.  (For locals interested in participating in paranormal investigations, I will open that process up in the month of January.)

Happy Halloween everyone!  Be safe this evening as a lot of you will be out trick or treating or attending Halloween events.  Jaselyn is excited!  She will be “Sally” from Nightmare Before Christmas, and she has her “Ghost” pumpkin ready.

Changes on my website are underway.  I had stated last month, there may be a couple of days delay in the 800#, that is fully functional now.  Most of the changes that you will see right now are just in appearance. 

The current special on the email readings expires today, so get those questions in!  The one-hour special will remain in place for the month of November.  (Don’t forget to join the app on my home page for random daily and weekly specials.)

This has been a month of a lot of people trying to hack into everything…from my social networks to my bank account and hoping this negative cycle is coming to an end!

November should be the month to get things done!  I say this because Mercury Retrograde will run from December 3^rd to December 22^nd.  The good news is that 2018 will be the first time in many years that we will NOT begin a new year under retro!

September 2017 "Rants & Raves"

September has bought us the season of fall!  This means cooler temperatures and the changing of the leaves.  (To my daughter, it means pumpkin spice EVERYTHING!)  We entered September by taking our last summer outing to Virginia Beach to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and spun of a new group of friends in Maryland.

A lot of you have noticed that the homepage of my website has taken on a different look.  There will be a lot of changes to all of my websites over the remainder of the year.  (No worries, services and rates remain the same.)  I am purging a lot of things and cleaning them up slowly.

I am excited that a new service went into place this week!  This is a FREE subscription service that will allow me to send you text messages/SMS on readings or classes.  To join

The next change is my 800#.  Now to be honest, there may be a couple of days that this number is NOT working….(I will update you here.)  If that is the case please use the alternate number instead.  A new behind the scenes platform is in progress for that number, therefore it may be down a couple of days.

My availability pretty much will remain the same for the exception of Tuesday evenings.  I will take some time off on Tuesday evenings for the next few weeks to participate in a bible study.  However, I will be available until 6pm and again after 10pm.  I highly encourage you to check my LIVE CALENDAR as it is updated often!

I also have a new project underway.  In addition I hope to start a painting project in the month of October.  (It appears my best comes out when I am busy!)

August 2017 "Rants & Raves"

I am hearing from a lot of you about the “Crazy energy” around you.  We are still under Mercury Retrograde until September 5^th, we also had the energy of the full moon and the eclipse, so I think it would be normal to call it the “Crazy energy”.  It appears to be bringing out a lot of emotions in most.  The good news is we will not go into Mercury Retrograde again until December 3^rd.

It has been another busy month for me as we enter the final days of summer.  We were able to spend some time at a lake nearby as well as to visit some friends in Outer Banks, NC.  Jaselyn has had a blast.  We visited “Gravedigger’s” race shop, and I really think she enjoyed this just as much as the beach.  (She really likes monster trucks!)

My YouTube videos, have been sporadic in the month of August.  This has been to a busy schedule and keeping up with appointments.  It does appear that the month of September may be the same way.  I do try to make up for this by jumping on there Live from time to time.

With fall approaching I am getting inquiries on the Reikicourse and this is a great time to get started as I just finished up with those clients.  If you have any questions just email me at Jackie@ms-swami.com

July 2017 "Rants & Raves"

Funny how summer is my favorite season and seems to go by the quickest.  July has been a really great month for me.  We were able to spend the 4^th at Virginia Beach with some friends as well as visit our friends from New Jersey in Williamsburg.

I also have a couple of outings coming up in the month of August and September.  As of now none should affect my schedule too bad.  However, I am taking time off this Saturday and Sunday, and will check my emails often.

For the last couple of months I have taken off on Sundays and I plan to keep this in place.  For now the best time to reach me will remain between 1pm and 1am.  (This will change this coming fall, details soon!)  Meanwhile, you can always check my live calendar for availability as it is updated often. I do check emails often, so email me anytime for availability.

All of my current specials will remain in place for the month of August.  Also your horoscopes for the month are now up. 

If you are having problems getting through to me on the 800#please let me know.  This only appears to be a problem for just a few and tech support is having problems locating it.  The regular number is also in place as well as Click4Advisor.  A little confusing to all, is they appear to have varying availability.  The most accurate is the live calendar.

Mercury Retrograde will hit us all in the month of August from August 12^th thru September 5^th.  Though this is not normally a good time to start anything new, this one has a pretty good vibe to it.  It is the time frame of the unexpected, but appears in a positive light in regards to positive changes.  Also, this is coming in abnormally strong on the financial front for all 12 signs!

For those of you that follow me on YouTube, I have had to drop some of the videos over the last couple of months just due to making time for them.  However, I will continue with them.

June 2017 "Rants & Raves"

Summer is here!  My favorite season!  Also I am celebrating 11 years on my website this month, and I thank you all.  (Although some of you have been with me a lot longer.)  I hope to update some things on my website in the next few weeks.

I know many of you are getting ready for a long weekend for the 4^th of July.  Be safe in your travels and be aware of your surroundings and ENJOY!

Something new this month, I have been giving you all a quick one-minute video and plan to for the next couple of weeks.  However, those that follow me on the weekly videos….this coming week I may have to change things up a bit.  This is due to some time constraints on my part.  You will get a video of some sorts to cover each of the zodiac signs, I’m just not sure I can make the individual videos happen.

I will be spending some time next week with my family and friends and mid month brings in some of my friends from New Jersey.  With that said, PLEASE check my livecalendar for availability as I update it often as well as I check emails often.  If you are unsure when I will be available just email me Jackie@ms-swami.com

May 2017 "Rants & Raves"

I hope this finds most of you with a short work week, as many of you were off for Memorial Day.
Jaselyn had a blast at a children's cookout at church, followed by some water fun at home.  Good times!

Spring is almost over as we head into summer on June 21st.

On a whole, the next few weeks look pretty awesome for everyone, with a lot of new beginnings in the zodiac signs.  

I have stayed pretty busy this month with readings and getting the yard setup for summer.  Of course, I have also taking some time off to spend with friends and had a lot of fun too!  As I type this, it has been a busy day, and the day is not over for me yet, so I will keep this short and sweet.

As many of you know, I have reinstated the 800# on the website, as you requested and things have gone along pretty smoothly.  If you do encounter a problem please email me asap so I can get tech support on it!

If you are trying to reach me please check my live calendar, this is updated often.  Also if I do not pick up, chances are I am on another line, so try back in or around 30 minutes.

NEW IN JUNE!  By request, I have reduced the rate for One-Hour readings.  I did this almost two years ago with great success.  (I will allow you to split this with one friend, in the same hour session.)

April 2017 "Rants & Raves"

There is nothing like waiting until the last moment to get this done!  I almost forgot that we are less than two hours until the 1^st of May.

This month has been busy for me.  Easter came and went really quick it seems.  Jaselyn had a lot of fun at the Easter Egg Hunt as well as waiting for the Easter bunny to come.

I have checked off a lot on my “To Do” list, with some things that will roll over into the month of May.  “Change” is in the air, and I feel that not only for myself but many others.

In the month of May, I ask that you continue to check my live calendar for scheduling because the last two weeks have shown that my schedule is forever changing. I did take some time to get some things done outside this month, and have a lot more to do.  I am in the process of making some decisions on my scheduling and will keep you updated.

I am finding that I have to push back our monthly meetings, and for now I will have to continue to do so.  Readings are the first and primary for me as of now.

For the month of May, the 800# remains in place, (so far no reported problems) as well as my direct line.  If for any reason I do not answer, please give it 30 minutes and try back, chances are I am on another line.

Weather wise here, it looks like we may skip spring and go straight into summer.  (I’m fine with that as long as it’s warm!)

Don’t forget that we are under Mercury Retrograde until May 3^rd, and then generally it takes 2 to 3 days following to get everything back on track.  This retro has been about new beginnings, which is pretty opposite of most of them.  For me, it has presented mail problems, both regular mail and email.

March 2017 "Rants & Raves"

Another month has come and gone.  I have been in such a whirlwind this month that I don’t know where the time went.

This month has consisted of wrapping up a paranormal investigation, (although I have not updated the website on this).  Having lunch with some friends, working with our church group, and cleaning up the yard for spring.  Oh yeah, and computer problems of course!

In the next few days, I hope to have Jaselyn’s garden started.  This is something that she enjoys every single day.

I also want to remind everyone that tomorrow is April Fool’s Day, so have fun with that!

In regards to work it has been a steady month, but in 10 years of doing this I have run into a problem that I have never had happen.  (Maybe I will blame this on Venus Retrograde.)  For whatever reason it has appeared that everyone wants an appointment at the exact same time.  This has always been rare, but a real consistent for the month of March.

The 800# is back in place, but please remember that I run more then one line.  If you ever try to reach me and I do not answer, please try back in about 30 minutes, verses calling over and over.  Or send me an email so that I know you are trying to reach me, (with your phone number).  I greatly appreciate it and will get back to you as soon as I can.

Although I update my live calendar often through the day, like everyone else I have some days that are busier then others and may be unable to log a couple of appointments.  I hope to get everything back on track in the month of April.

February 2017 "Rants & Raves"

We are quickly approaching spring!  February is our shortest month of the year and it’s going by fast! I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine’s Day.

The weather here has been crazy.  There have been a lot of warm days giving me the impression that we will be in store for one hot summer.  Also, I know of many that are suffering from sinus infections and some with the flu.

In other news, I am happy to report that my daughter was Baptized in the month of February.  I am so very happy with the positive changes in her life and believe they will only get better.

As we get ready to enter the month of March, I feel like I just did the horoscopes for the first of the year!  (Your monthly horoscopes for March, will post on my website tomorrow.)  I will continue to post your free weekly horoscopes on YouTube as long as I can manage.  I do them between appointments and some weeks can be challenging to get them done.

March 12^th brings in Daylight Savings and March 20^th brings in the first day of spring.  This should be a wonderful month, as we do not go back into Mercury Retrograde until April 9^th.  I intend to get my spring newsletter out somewhere around the end of March into the first part of April and you can subscribe to that here.

Last month, due to many requests, I did put the 800# back in place.  Although this system may say I am available, I urge you to please check my live calendar as it is updated often.  For example, CVAPI has an investigation coming up this week, and I will be taking the evening off.

With so many changes that went into effect, please let me know if you run into any technical difficulties on my website.  It appears that most of the bugs have been found and fixed, but generally I am unaware until someone brings it to my attention.

January 2017 "Rants & Raves"

Happy New Year everyone!  It is always nice to see the start of a new year to see what this year will bring in.

This has been a crazy busy month for me.  Mostly paperwork.  Closing out 2016 and my daughter’s accounting as well.  We did see a good snow in January and I imagine that we will see one more in February.  Although I am not fond of cold weather spring will be here in just a few weeks!

The majority of the changes are now in place on my website.  After many requests, I have reinstated the 800# at the regular rate. (I will keep this as long as we do not run into any technical problems.)  There will be no rate increase for 2017.

The best time to catch me is between 1pm and 1am.  However, I am starting a new project in the month of February, so I may eventually change this.  There is always a live calendar to show when I am available.

I plan to bring the Meetups back with Central VA PsychicDevelopment & Paranormal Research.  Since February is a short month, I will probably go ahead and schedule this for the month of March.

December 2016 "Rants & Raves"

Christmas is this weekend!  I don’t think I have been this excited about Christmas in years.  I give that credit to Jaselyn’s three-year-old spirit running around here.  We have all had an exciting month of going to church with her, and of course the Elf on the Shelf!  (Although she was NOT happy when she caught the elf eating the Christmas cookies she had made.) The countdown for Santa to arrive is officially on and she is very excited!

A really big THANK YOU to all of you that take the time out of your day to keep us in your thoughts.  This time of year I get emails from everyone that just make all of my efforts worthwhile.  I love hearing your stories and seeing photos of your families and the recipes you send.  Totally awesome!  I also want to give a special thanks and shout out to Patty and Nikki.  (Ironically, both of these ladies are in New Jersey.)  Thank you for all that you do and for just being YOU!

Usually this is the time of year that I post my predictions for the upcoming year.  Overall, I don’t believe 2016 has been a “Bad” year, but it hasn’t been an “Easy” year in general.  I am looking for 2017 to be easier with more of a natural flow to it.  This year I have done things differently by making those predictions a little more personable by the zodiac signs.  You will find those videos on YouTube.  (Under the Channel’s playlist of 2017 predictions.)

Moving forward with 2017, your free monthly horoscopes will remain in place and you can look for an extended version in January.  NO rate increase in 2017, and new services will be offered.  There is also a directline and a live calendar, where you can reach me most anytime.  As always, for this time of year, the Holiday Specials are on my homepage under the Christmas Tree.  (12-month email report has around a 2-day wait on them.)

I am seeking those that would like to give me permanent feedback that would include your first name and the state you are in.  This will replace the achieved feedback of many years on the site. (It is slowing the website down.)  I am pleased to say that most of the changes are now in place.

November 2016 "Rants & Raves"

I have had so much going on this month, that I feel like I have missed the entire month of November!

November 22^nd, the first day of Sagittarius, Jaselyn turned three!  She is so cute and super sweet.  (Prejudiced I know!)  She had a cute little princess party for her birthday.  This was quickly followed by Thanksgiving.  We had some friends join us this year and really had a great time!

The month ended for me with the final step on my business.  (This has taken months!)  The end result has left me as being the only licensed psychic in my County.  Although I have always had my business license since 2006, it was classified differently as a home business even though the classification stated psychic and tarot card reader.  The first of the year, I had to change the company name, and this created changes with the business as well.

All across the country we have this “Fortune Teller Ordinance”.  The one in my County was adopted in 1940, and I am the first to go through with the entire process.  Although it took a lot of money, meetings and a lot of steps to follow, it is a “Do able” process. I am discouraged to find that many have inquired about it but chosen not to go through with it. I can say that every County Official I met with was more then willing to help me through this.  (I also wondered if this was adopted in my Great Grandmother’s era, as 1940 would have been when she worked as a psychic out of Richmond.)

In case your wondering….I DO support the ordinance.  The industry is 80% shady, unfortunate but true, and I remain and advocate against Psychic Scams.

The change in my business was due to Identity Theft, and this I would wish upon no one!  This has been a year of in and out of attorney’s offices and courtrooms, and it’s not over yet. It appears that some of this may be wrapped up in December while some will carry forward into the New Year.

This also prompted change in the business due to a “Chronic complainer” in the County. (It does make you wonder why an individual feels they know more about me or my business then the County does.)  Is this the same person responsible for my Identity Theft?  There have been numerous investigations at many levels so I am sure it will all come out eventually.

The end result, all of my websites are changing back to NORMAL!  Thank you all for your patience on this and to my surprise many of you had not even noticed until I pointed it out to you.

Overall, this has not been a “Bad” year, but rather a year of cleaning up messes created by someone else, and a really good learning experience.   On the financial end of things, it has hit hard, in addition I have to get ready to repay a lot of these fees in the month of January.  A GoFundMe has been set up in an effort to help me keep things under control.

Also new to the website, I have only had a few of you request or inquire, but I am now set up to process American Express and Discover!  Don’t forget, the best times to reach me are between 1pm to 1am EST.

It has been yet another busy month of working on projects and getting things done.  I did take a little time to have some fun with my daughter and granddaughter this month.  We spent a couple of days in Williamsburg, Virginia and had a blast.  Although it is fall, I am grateful that we had perfect weather to take Jaselyn out on the Jamestown Ferry and let her see the James River.

This was our last official “Outing” as we settle into the month of November for Jaselyn’s birthday party and Thanksgiving.

I know many of you are sticking with me with the issues on my website.  I am pleased to announce that all changes will now be made no later then the month of December!!!!  This has been a long wait, with a delay that I will be able to explain in the next upcoming weeks.  Thank you so much for your patience and if you are having problems or find that something is not working correctly please contact me at once. I have heard from many of you that have stated that the navigation has changed and there is some confusion on what line to call.  The cheapest line to call is the 804number.  I know this has confused many, but trust me when I say “There is always a reason for my madness” and I will discuss this at a later date!

September 2016 "Rants & Raves"

September is an amazing month of closing out summer and the beginning of fall.  I think it is funny how we go from the beach and the pool to pumpkin spice everything!  In addition to taking a few days off this month, it was also my daughter’s birthday.  Although I am looking forward to the leaves change, it does sadden me to close the pool as it is the official sign of cold weather to come.

As we enter fall, it is that time of year when we get geared up on our paranormal investigations.  We did complete one in August (the website will be updated soon), and returned to that location this month. 

On this investigation we returned with XL-102’s Alex Mac and a special guest of Kat Simmons from Mix 98.1.  We are currently helping XL-102 put together a video for their website, and will have them join us on another investigation as well.

I am often presented with the question of do I think paranormal activity increases this time of year.  Honestly, I don’t.  I believe that people are more inside this time of year and maybe start noticing things that they had not before.  The same as I don’t find it to be true that activity only occurs at night, when in fact much occurs during the day.  The only reason we investigate at night is due to the sensitivity of the night vision cameras will tend to pick up more.

This has been an extremely busy month for me.  In addition to the beach, we had friends visit from New Jersey, some local friends visit and an investigation.  I’m not sure how, but I have also kept my normal working schedule as well.

We have officially cleared Mercury Retrograde and for some of you it packed a powerful punch.  The next Retro is December 20^th to January 9^th.

August 2016 "Rants & Raves"

It is hard to believe that we are approaching the final days of summer.  (My favorite season!)  Before you know it, there will be pumpkin spice everything, which isn’t a bad thing!

I noticed over the weekend how much Jaselyn has grown over the summer.  I based this on her talking as well as her interaction in the pool time is going by quick!

Thank you to those that are sticking with me as my website undergoes some changes.  If all goes well, it should all fall into place in the month of November.

We will begin to enter Mercury Retrograde tomorrow night.  This will run from August 31^st through September 23^rd.  This one is packing a high-energy that may provoke a lot of restless in energy in most.

The 800# is back in place, however there is a rate increase on that line only.  Your best option is to contact me using the phone number provided below it.  As always, the best time to reach me is between 1pm to 1am, as this allows me to cover the varying time zones.

I am planning to take a couple of days off near Labor Day for some family fun!  I will check my messages often.

Central Virginia Paranormal Investigations has completed a residential investigation.  I hope to have that info up on the website later in the month of September.

July 2016 "Rants & Raves"

I hope you are all enjoying the summer months.  I know many of you are struggling with the heat.  Just remember there will be snow on the ground in a matter of a few short weeks!  I will take the heat over the snow anytime!

Between the rain at the beginning of the season and the heat index, Jaselyn’s garden has struggled this year, but appears to finally be on track.  I also took the time this month to reconnect with some family members that I have not seen in years.  We have had a couple of wonderful visits.

My apologies to the locals as I did not have time to schedule a meeting for Central Virginia Psychic Development & ParanormalResearch as I had planned.  In all honesty, I am unsure if will be able to set this up in the month of August, but I will do what I can.  I had a few days that I was not feeling well, however I am all caught up now.

June 2016 "Rants & Raves"

Hello summer!  Can you believe that we have passed the midway mark of the year?  Summer is my favorite season of the year and would love to see this time of year slow down just a little bit so I can enjoy it.  (This whole year is flying by.)  I have really enjoyed Jaselyn in the pool, with her garden and all of her outdoor toys.

The month of June has bought in my celebration of my 10 year anniversary on my website.  It actually launched 10-years ago yesterday as a 3-page website.  It has been wonderful to hear from so many of my clients that I have had for 10 years and some even longer!  I’m also very touched at how many of you that are on my social media that referenced watching my daughter grow up over the years.  (I think 10 years ago MySpace was the big thing.)  She gave me a Bonsai tree, which is something I have wanted; now I need to keep it alive!

I know you all have been wonderful in working with me on the changes to my website.  There will be more changes that will not be completed until later this fall.  Thank you for your patience!

I need to apologize to my local group Central VA PsychicDevelopment & Paranormal Research, as once again, I have run out of month!  I will see what I can schedule in the month of July.

I do have exciting news for the month of June.  My daughter is engaged!  And yes, he has my seal of approval and I am very happy for them! Her ring is GORGEOUS! The house comes first and the wedding will be next summer.  He also has a little girl the same age of Jaselyn and I fully believe they will all make a nice family!

May 2016 "Rants & Raves"

I hope you are enjoying a long weekend for Memorial Day!  Let this also be a reminder that it is more then just about family cookouts!

It does appear that our weather is going to take us straight into summer.  (The first day of summer is Monday June 20^th.)  I have managed to take a couple of afternoons off to work in the yard, and get Jaselyn’s play area set up for her.

April 2016 "Rants & Raves"

The last day of April…this year is flying by!  Today is the beginning of Mercury Retrograde, running through May 25^th.  As you know, this is the moon phases where you can expect the unexpected.  This one appears to be strong in the financial sector, with a lot of scattered energy in the personal sector.  This is also a time frame of renewals of past acquaintances. 

My websites are still under a major overhaul.  Do not be surprised if you come across some links that are not working or you find them “Under Construction.”  (And I finally have new photos for it, YAY!)  Every month, I hear stories of those that have either fallen victim to scams, or been approached by them.  This has inspired me to post several of those “Common Scams” here.

It has been a productive month for me in working on my “To Do List”.  I did take the time last weekend for a Meetup at the Dooley Mansion at Maymont Park, and thank you to those that attended.  Tomorrow (Sunday May 1^st) there is a picnic at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond.  This is not sponsored or hosted by me, but by Hollywood Cemetery.  This is an annual event for them with food trucks, so if you’re local please join them.

I have dedicated a lot of my time this month to taking care of some odds and ends.  I am hoping this will allow me to settle in for some writing this summer!  (Including getting Jaselyn’s garden started.)

March 2016 "Rants & Raves"

Hello spring!  It won’t be long now before we start complaining about the heat.  This is one of my favorite times in the year where everything comes into bloom.  I now have everything we need for Jaselyn’s garden and will need to make some time on a pretty day, to get it underway.  This was one of her favorite projects last year.

March has been a busy month for me. I have many new endeavors going on behind the scenes and they are still underway.  I thank you all for your patience in some of the changes on my websites.  I am listening to you and I now realize that some of the things are confusing to you.  This will be addressed in the month of April.

In the month of April, all of my websites are going to undergo a major overhaul.  (For the better!)  With this there is a slight possibility that the website may go down completely as it is under construction.  In the event that this does happen, you may still reach my by email at Jackie@ms-swami.com.

For those of you trying to reach me or looking for an appointment.  Please note that there is a live calendar of my availability that is updated several times a day.

I am still hearing from those that have fallen victim to common scams or are questioning what someone has presented to them.  I will designate an area on my website specifically for this topic.

I am also going to clarify Reiki for you on the website as well.  (I am constantly getting questions on this.)  I am finding that a lot of massage places are now offering Reiki, and I think it is wonderful.  However, Reiki has NOTHING to do with massage!  Reiki does NOT have to be hands on.  If it is hands on, it is the placement of the hands on your chakras (energy fields), not massage.  Part of becoming a Reiki Master is to know how to do this with no hands, or hands off, and learning to do this distantly.

I believe the confusion is that over the years it has also been known as the “Healing Touch.”  When in fact, it does not require hands on.  The “Healing” part is because it is sent into the body for the greater good, healing what is amiss.  In short, it is an “Energy Healing” and nothing more.  Anyway, more on this subject later.

Another subject that I am often asked about is my belief on the “Laws of attraction.”  And yes, I do believe in it!  (“Where thoughts go, energy flows!”)  I am a firm believer that when you keep your thoughts positive, you draw positive things to you and vice versa.  (Meaning if you are negative you can draw that to you as well.)  I know some of you are into making “Manifestation boards” and I support those too!  (These are actual visual boards of the things that you would like to come into your life.)  I believe it is NEVER a bad time to focus on your dreams or your goals!

This year I am resuming my monthly meetings with Central VAPsychic Development & Paranormal Research.  Our first meeting was this month.  It was great to see some new faces!  It is a great opportunity to get together with some like-minded people on varying topics.  Our next get together is a day at the park on Sunday April 24^th at Maymont Park for a tour of the Dooley Mansion.  I am hoping the weather will be wonderful enough for us to enjoy the gardens and petting zoo after the tour.  The month of May there will be a meeting on paranormal equipment.  So if you are local, please feel free to join us!

For those of you that have read or currently reading mybook, I thank you!  You have no idea how much I have enjoyed your input!  This helps me tremendously with the sequel.  I love, love, love hearing your feedback on the characters!
