September 2015 "Rants & Raves"
HELLO FALL! Although
I am not fond of cold weather, I am enjoying a break from the heat. Time for pumpkin spice everything!
It has been a busy month.
I am thrilled that we were able to take Jaselyn to the beach right
before the weather changed. To our
surprise she associated the ocean with Spongebob! We do have another weekend getaway coming up in the month of
October that we are also excited about before cold weather hits.
Beginning this week, (tomorrow actually), I will be setting
up my YouTube Channel for a weekly video
blast of what to expect for the week ahead. (Encouraged by a friend.)
These will be short videos. I
plan to post them on Sundays and will embed them into my blog. Now, I will NOT be sending out an email
blast on these, so if your interested in seeing them, please subscribe to the
YouTube channel and it will send you an email when a new video is posted. (Who knows, you may get a shout out.)
We are currently under Mercury Retrograde until October 9th. Although the energy is a little odd on this
one, it is also the last one of the year.
This one is triggering a lot of things to surface from the past, from
people, places, to objects. Also on
Monday September 28th, it is a combination of the Super Moon, Blood
Moon. This can hit some rather hard in
the emotional sector.
Another month has flown by quickly! Your October horoscopes will post this
Thursday on the first. I have had many

This is what makes for a totally awesome psychic reading. I go out of my way to provide as many
details for you that I can. Now, I need
the same from you. Often I will ask a
new client, “How did you find me?” More
than often I am told….the internet. I
need to know where on the internet. I
mention this because as we enter the last quarter of the year, I begin looking
at my current advertising campaign as to what I need to change for 2016. So let me know how you found me. Social
network, directory, ad, radio? This is
what I need to know.
Also, I love, love, love hearing your feedback! While at Virginia Beach I ran into a client
that I had read for many years ago. I
love hearing how the reading went and what came to pass. Don’t EVER hesitate to email me and let me
know. With that said, I don’t always
have time to email every single person back, but in case you are wondering, I
do read every single one!

Will you ever live stream a paranormal investigation?
I do have the ability to do so, but the answer is, it is
highly doubtful. I say this because
you, the viewer, would be bored to tears.
What video clips and audio files we do capture on an investigation,
generally has taken us hours to get.
How do I set an appointment with you for a psychic
reading?
How can I get a reading with you in person?
I do have some options available for this. If you can get a group of your friends together,
then we can look at meeting somewhere or doing a psychic party. The key here, is that I need as much notice
as possible on a date! Also keep your
eyes on my blog or website for any upcoming events. ****I will be in the WILLIAMSBURG area in October.****
Do you ever work any psychic fairs?
Generally speaking….NO.
I don’t like the energy of them.
With all that you do, how in the world do you manage your
schedule?

August 2015 "Rants & Raves"
Hello Super Moon!
Yes, we are under the Super Moon as of last night. This may very well create some restless or
scattered energy in you for the next few days.
(Some are emotional as well!)
August has been a wonderful month. I find it hard to believe that we are now entering the final days
of summer! Although a busy month, I
have managed to get a lot done.
Including the installation of Windows 10. (So far, so good!)
I did take a weekend off for a quick getaway with my
daughter and granddaughter to rent a cabin at a local lake. (That weekend went by way too fast!)
In addition, we did receive some sad news from a friend in
Texas and the loss of her daughter. (You remain in our prayers.)
I am taking my vacation in “Spurts” this year in order to keep
up with my appointments as well as Jaselyn.
We do have another weekend getaway lined up in September, as well as
some friends coming to visit from out of state. I am also excited because our County Fair is here as well!
(Jaselyn loved this last year!)
As we enter the month of September, I wish all of you a
happy and safe holiday weekend as we approach Labor Day. I also want to give a shout out to my
daughter, as her birthday is September 6th. (A Virgo.)
The third and final Mercury Retrograde hits in the month of
September, running from September 17th to October 9th. This is the time of the “Unexpected” and to
be honest, the energy is a little odd on this one. Also in September, we welcome the first day of fall on September
23rd. This means cooler
temperatures, and pumpkin spiced EVERYTHING.
Unfortunately this also means that we have to convert the
backyard to our fall setup. (Something
I am NOT looking forward to.)
Looking out into the winter months, the Farmer’s Almanac is
predicting a rough winter for most of us.
They say that most of the country will see a White Christmas this
year. (I can handle the snow, but not
the ice.)
As most of you know, I am now accepting Subscriber’s to the
monthly horoscopes, blogs, articles, etc.
This has caused me to go to a conversion process on my email to better
accommodate my Subscriber’s. My email

I am beginning to line things up for the fall months. Ghost Hunting 101 is being setup for the

promotion on the Reiki Course before I retire this edition.
Other then that, the fall will be full of psychic readings,

Due to time constraints in the last couple of years, I have
only published articles on a “Need be” basis.

Although I was able to see how many views they would
receive, I had NO IDEA as many of you followed them from month to month. The last few days, I have received many
emails and contacts via social networks.
(I was also very touched that many of you wondered if everything was

Objectively, I did contact them. In a nutshell, it appears that Examiner.com are changing their
viewpoints on certain topics. They did
offer to change my title.
In consideration that I have been a contributor since 2009,
I strongly felt that I was deserving of a phone call or at least an email. Since this did not happen I personally
viewed it as unprofessional and honestly, down right rude. Therefore, I resigned.

July 2015 "Rants & Raves"
I hope that everyone had a safe and happy 4th of
July. Time is indeed flying by!
My month began with some dental work followed by some asthma
problems. However, now that we have
broken the triple digit heat here, all seems to be well.
As always it has been another busy month for me. However, I must say that I have taken a
little time off to play! We had friends
visit with us from New Jersey this month.
What a blast! I also took off an
enjoyed a day at the zoo with my daughter and granddaughter.
I have to admit, I was surprised to see the penguins! I always thought they were in cold
weather. I never knew they had
colonies of them in South Africa!
I will be sneaking away with my daughter and granddaughter
to a cabin at a nearby lake for a weekend in the month of August. (Very much looking forward to it!)
I have had a few of you inquire about my book. It is almost complete! A few finishing touches and I just need to
schedule the time to do so!
Something new for me this month, I am trying Hypnosis! I am a “Seeing is believing” type of person
so I will update you on this later on.
So far, so good and I will say it is relaxing.
For the next few days, you may notice that things and/or
people from the past are resurfacing.
Do not be surprised. The Blue
Moon is this Friday.
I have had a spell where it almost felt as though we were
under Mercury Retrograde (which we are not) due to things breaking. Then I realized my granddaughter has
assisted in most of it, lol.

August as fall will be here before you know it!
I am considering starting my newsletter back up, and I am
launching an advertising campaign with Living Social. (That should be up at the end of August or early September.) Meanwhile if you would like to get on my

August. Honestly, I am excited as this
place has a nice history and we took the summer off.

June 2015 "Rants & Raves"
HELLO SUMMER! The
first official day of summer was June 21st. Although I can say that here, we saw many
hot days prior to that!
This is another month that has flown by quick enough that I
almost forgot my blog! For most of you,
June has proven to be a mess. Mercury
Retrograde hit in full force followed by an odd alignment of a couple of the
planets. Well once we clear today, you
should see some “normalcy” return.
I have spoke with a lot of you that are heading on
vacation. As we come into the 4th
of July weekend, I wish you all safe and happy travels. We have had some family in visiting from
Florida this month. The summer months
are all about vacation! We are also
excited to have some friends come in from New Jersey in the month of July.
My schedule will remain the same for the month of July. The best time to catch me for a psychicreading remains between 1pm and 1am. My
plan for July is psychic readings, catching up on some accounting, as well as
working on some finishing touches on my book.
I can say that I have no complaints about the heat as this
is my favorite season of the year.
Jaselyn and I started a small garden back in April and it is
thriving! She enjoys that every single
day. We also had to replace our pool
liner this year. The problem with me
appears finding the time to get in it!
I have many of you inquiring about my next local event. Because I stay busy, it has been hard for me
to schedule anything. (I am also
factoring in that some of you are leaving for vacation.) So meanwhile, if you can get a group
together, then I would suggest you looking into a “Psychic Party.”
I am grateful to say that I have seen an increase in new
clients over the last few months.
Though I stay on top of my emails, please remember that sometimes it
will take 24 hours or more for me to respond.
All the kinks with the new phone system appear to be
fixed. There is a new toll free number
on the site that no longer has an extension.
I thank you all for working with me during that transition to the new
system.
I have not scheduled anything for Central Virginia PsychicDevelopment & Paranormal Research due to the heat. I also have many inquiries about those that
are interested in a paranormal investigation.
I hope to have an open investigation for the pubic one evening in July.
I am kicking off the month of July (tomorrow) with some
dental work. I will NOT be available
tomorrow evening, and I plan to carry a light schedule on Thursday. Everything should be back to normal by
Friday.

May 2015 "Rants & Raves"
Hello Mercury Retrograde!
Yes, it appears to be in full affect and will run until June 11th. Depending on your zodiac sign, this one is
hitting some emotionally, in their love life, and some financially. It is the time of the “Unexpected” where you
can expect anything from “Good to bad” in those areas.
For whatever reason, from time to time, I am seeing a delay
when someone messages me on Facebook.
In the event that I don’t respond, this is probably why. Your best bet is to email me directly
through one of my websites.
I have a LOT of inquiries regarding my next local
event. Generally I would have this set
up by now. However, I have had a lot
going on this month as well as keeping up with my readings and emails. I do hope to have something set up towards
the end of June.
In a previous blog, I had mentioned that if you were local I
could generally make arrangements to meet somewhere. A LOT of this depends on your location and if I have
appointments. So please consider that I
need as many days in advance as possible.
After a rough winter I SWORE that I would not complain about
the hot weather. However, that appeared
to change when my air conditioning went out!
(I might add, right when the humidity hit, of course.) You probably have no idea just how much I
hate dealing with contractors on anything.
However, my faith was restored in finding an honest one! (Yes, there are still a few honest people
out there, you just have to find them!)
So now that AC season is in full force here in Virginia, and if your
local, give David Hall from Hall’s Heating and Air Inc. a call at (804)
218-2403. (Tell him Jackie sent
you.) Not only was he honest, he
explained everything thoroughly, did a great job, and followed up himself.
With that said, a few weeks in the heat, and I am running
behind on several things. (Writing and
scheduling events for starters.) I hope
to get that under control this week.
Next, I have switched up things on the Weekly Forecast,
though I have not had it changed on the website. Because these are personalized forecasts, some weeks may be a
little longer then other. Therefore, I
prefer the delivery method via email.
(These go out every Sunday afternoon or Sunday evening.) Due to the amount of subscriptions there is
LIMITED AVAILABILITY for me to take on any more. So if this is something that you are considering, it is something
you need to take action on.
In regards to the Reiki Course, I still have some copies
available and I have had many ask. YES,
I am retiring this but not anytime soon.

Jaselyn is growing like a weed and LOVES being outside. She has a little garden out back that she
enjoys working in and loves anything to do with water.

March & April 2015 "Rants & Raves"
I had to check, because I have never missed a month of
posting, however, I ran out of time in the month of March. (And no I didn’t forget, I just didn’t have
time to get to it.)
The last few weeks I have been juggling appointments,
Jaselyn, my book and the dreaded deed of yard work.
I am super excited to see spring here! (Excluding the pollen of course.) However, the yard work that comes with it is
always challenging in the clean up after the winter. I am happy to report that this task is almost complete!
The book I am working on is coming to an end. (Kind of sad about that as odd as that may
sound.) I had hoped to have it to the
editor by now, but due to my schedule I have pushed that back a bit. And of course I have a few rewrites where I
want to change some things up. However,
I will keep you posted on this. I can
say I have enjoyed every single minute of it and kind of sad that it’s coming
to an end. There again, I am excited
because there is a second one that will follow.
Miss Jaselyn is a delight!
She is spitting out new words each week. I am amazed on how smart she is and how quickly she picks up
things. She is a joy to have
around! Currently we are working on a
small garden for her to plant things in.
(She loves digging in the dirt.) I have purchased my own car seat and looking forward to park dates
and story time at the library.
Though I struggle with my sinuses and allergies, I am
enjoying watching everything come into bloom.
My azaleas bloomed this week. My
aunt planted them years ago and they now stand between 8 and 10 foot tall! Simply gorgeous!
Spring brings crazy weather around here. From hot to cool. I am still trying to plan an outing to Hollywood Cemetery so if

CVAPI is getting a lot of calls, but due to my schedule I
don’t have any investigations logged as of now. (And since I actually typed that I am sure I will!)
So far, everything for me has been rolling along pretty
smoothly. Sometimes you just have to
embrace that you are just “In a good spot.”
I am happy to report, that is where I am!
My daughter has been doing wonderful with Origami Owl and
loving it. They now offer
“Inscriptions” (below), so my
personalized one came in and I LOVE IT.
She is beginning to work local area vendor events, so if you know of one
coming up, please let me know and I will pass it along to her.
Due to being a “Ghost hunter” I have often asked if I am
scared of anything. Well the truth is
YES. (Not of ghosts, even though if you
ever see one it will leave you speechless and cost you a few nights
sleep.) My fear….Lizards and
frogs! (Or any reptile!) Currently my patio appears to be full of
those blue tail lizards. Although they
are harmless (And probably just as scared of me.) They scare me to death!
They may as well be the size of a dragon! My cat Roxy recently killed one, earning her the name of “Roxy
the dragon slayer”, currently she is my hero!
(That is huge because we don’t always get along!)
I want to remind everyone that Mother’s Day is May 10th. Take care of your Mom’s and if you are a
Mother yourself I hope you have a special day and will do something to
celebrate your AWESOMENESS!

February 2015 "Rants & Raves"
I hope that the month of February finds you all doing
well. Mercury Retrograde ended on
February 11th, and I am getting a lot of people reporting that they
are glad its over. (Next Mercury Retrograde is May 18th to June 11th).
For a lot of us the month of February has bought SNOW. We had our “Large” snow last week, and other
then a few flurries; I hope that is the end of it! My heart goes out to all of you up North, as this has been a
rough winter for you.
Unfortunately, little Jaselyn did not get to play in the
snow. She has two ear infections and a
sinus infection and on the road to recovery.
She does enjoy standing at the door and it’s the first thing she needs
to check on each day. Today she appears
a bit confused as it is melting away.
February also brings Valentine’s Day, to which I hope you all
enjoyed! I received a special coffee
cup with Jaselyn’s hand print on it and flowers and a stuffed bear from my
daughter.
On that note, I want to discuss “Soul Mates” and “Twin
Flames”. I have a lot of you reference
both of these. The truth is, these are
generally the most difficult relationships that present a number of
problems. So for those of you that are
searching for your soul mate or twin flame, you would be better off searching
for someone with long-term compatibility!
CVAPI has wrapped up another paranormal investigation this
month, and will be onto the next one in March.
Upcoming with Central Virginia Psychic Development & ParanormalResearch in the month of March, will be another tour of Hollywood
Cemetery. So if you are local, I hope you
will join us!
We are still getting a phenomenal amount of requests for
negative haunts. This is NOT our
specialty, although television has put us out there as just that.
I did hold the Tarot Card Workshop last Saturday. At one time I thought I was going to have to
reschedule due to the snow lingering around, but was able to move forward with
it. I do get a lot of requests for this
and hope to be able to host another one in the summer.
As we all look forward to spring, I am seeing an increased
number in the people that are interested in Reiki. I love, love, love seeing this!
It amazes me how something so simple can be so effective. I also get a lot of reports of people being
interested, but “Overwhelmed” at the same time. I put the “Simplicity of Reiki” out there for that reason. It will give you a good summary of what it
is, and how it works. I still offer theReiki Course, but am considering retiring that edition in the next year.
As most of you know, I have spent the winter months working
on a writing project of my first novel.
If all goes well, it is a “possibility” that it will be ready for
pre-order in the month of April. I will
keep you posted.
I have to say that I am extremely proud of my daughter for
starting her own business this month with Origami Owl! This is something she has been interested in
for the last couple of years. For those
of you who have never heard of it, please check out her website. They offer
lockets with charms to fill them, as well as charm bracelets and earrings and
just a bunch of cool stuff. (YES I have
made my “Wish list”!) It is funny how
things change over the years….you can now “Host” a party online on Facebook and
still receive your hostess awards. I am
wishing her all the best on this new adventure!

January 2015 "Rants & Raves"
Happy New Year! I
hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday and a good start to the New Year!
It seems that today, all of my clients up North are bracing
for the blizzard of 2015. We are
looking for a dusting to 2 inches here.
(However, February looks sketchy for this area.) I believe most of us enjoy the snow even as
we get older. (Provided we don’t loose
power!) It does make for some nasty
driving conditions so please be careful.
My New Year has gotten off to a good start. I did take the month of January off from
paranormal investigations to work on some writing. I will have to say that I have enjoyed every single minute of
it!
In other news, Little Miss Jaselyn is walking! I am honestly surprised to say, that I
really think this is much easier than having her as a crawler. Her vocabulary is coming along nicely and
she is spitting out new words each week.
As most of you know, we are currently under Mercury
Retrograde until February 11th.
This is the time of the “Unexpected” and can cause anxiety in most, as
well as “Technical” problems. (You may
notice that those around you are a little more sensitive or just plain
moody.) This is Retrograde #1 of 3 for
2015. Each one is hitting hard in the
financial sector this year. This could
be from “Good to bad”, meaning it could mean unexpected money coming in, or
unexpected expenses of money going out.
(Hoping for the best for everyone!)
My Meetup group Central Virginia Psychic Development &Paranormal Research will have an event each month this year, as it has been way
too long. Next Saturday, January 31st,
we will have a “Meet & Greet” for new members. In addition, we have another local paranormal team joining us as
they are taking applications for investigators. This is open to the public, so if you’re local I hope you will
join us.
The next “Tarot Card Workshop” will be on February 21st. I also anticipate that we will return for a
tour of Hollywood Cemetery in the month of March. My paranormal team, CVAPI will also resume private investigations
in the month of February.
March 31st, if you are a history buff, keep your
calendars open. As I will promote a
public event for one of my clients.
On that note, I also wanted to state that CVAPI does not
specialize in negative haunts as television has put us out there as. (They were just a couple of cases that fit
their shows.) We are more geared
towards “Casper the Friendly Ghost!”
With the turn of the New Year, I have many, many of you
looking for me to setup locally for readings.
I am working on putting something together in the month of February, so
stay tuned!

will run my information as if I work for them when in fact I have never heard
of them. Due to you directly reporting
this to me or asking me about it is how I SHUT IT DOWN. Moving forward in 2015, I will not hesitate
to blast them publicly for this!
2015 is a very high-energy year. It has more of a “Natural flow” to it, than what we have seen in
the past few years. So RELAX &
ENJOY! (A big thank you to all of my
clients for making 2014 another successful year and I am looking forward to
what 2015 brings to all of us.)

Why do I only post specials to Twitter instead of
Facebook?
It’s simple, I have a larger audience on Twitter. The Facebook “Like” page will dictate who
will actually see my post on their NewsFeed unless I pay to promote the
post. If I post that special at random
hours on Twitter, more people will see it.
Will you have a spot for local readings this year?
I am working on it!
A couple of past locations will be used again this year as well.
What if I have a story for you for that I think you can
run in Examiner?

I am currently working on two locations. It appears the first will be in the spring.
Does your email go through an Admin?
NO! Your emails are
confidential and go directly to me.
Although I don’t always respond because I get backed up from time to time,
I appreciate your updates and read them all!
Are you shutting down CVAPI?
Absolutely not! I
have become friends with another local paranormal team and do not mind trying
to help them expand. We do hope to do a
couple of joint investigations this year.
When is the best time to contact you for a reading?
1pm to 1am Eastern.

December 2014 "Rants & Raves"
Is everyone ready for Christmas? As of today, YES I finally am!
Though we put our Christmas tree up at the beginning of the month, I
cannot believe it is the week of Christmas. Our cat, Roxy, enjoys the tree as much as Jaselyn.
The plan this year is to stick close to home and let Jaselyn
enjoy her toys. I know I have spoke to
some of you that will be traveling over the holidays and I wish you all a safe
trip.
I was hoping to get a newsletter out this month, but now
that looks more like the first part of the year. To join the mailing list, please email me at Jackie@ms-swami.com.
I will be available for both of the upcoming holidays. (A couple of hours off here and there.) And, for the first time, I am taking the
month of January off from paranormal investigations. (A much needed break!) I am pleased that we have another local,
reliable team if anything should come up in January. January I plan to keep up with my psychic readings, Reiki students,
and continue to work on my writing project.
(As well as hibernate from any bad weather we may have!)
Don’t forget that when your January horoscopes post, there
will be an extra line or two of what you can expect for the upcoming year.
Just what can you expect in 2015? Actually, pretty much a repeat of this year
but stronger in the area of finances. A
LOT of reconnections from the past.
Both people and places. Also for
a lot of you that don’t travel often, there is a lot of travel upcoming in
2015. Overall, a good year ahead!
For myself, I would have to say that 2014 has been one of
the better years for me. It has been a
productive year both personally and professionally and I hope 2015 is even
better. It has been wonderful having Jaselyn around. My daughter has us establishing new family
traditions and I have enjoyed both of them tremendously.
So what do I have planned for 2015? First and foremost, psychic readings and
some updates to my websites. I plan to kick off the first of the year with
another Tarot Card Workshop in January.
I have a couple of paranormal investigations that we will do in February
and March and start setting up for spring.
I am in process of ideas for Central Virginia Psychic Development &Paranormal Research. I have a book that
should publish in the spring. (Possibly
two, in 2015.) And there are three
separate discussions of filming projects in 2015. (I will see where that goes, and keep you posted!) My monthly horoscopes and the monthly blog
will stay in place. Though CVAPI’s
YouTube channel stays updated, I hope to work on mine as well. Oh yeah, VACATION! I plan to work that as well!
And on a personal note, I have two rooms that I plan to paint. Of course I always have a new idea or two
that I am kicking around as well.

November 2014 "Rants & Raves"
I hope this finds that each and every one of you has had a
wonderful Thanksgiving and are now preparing for Christmas!
It is hard to believe that on November 22nd, we
celebrated Jaselyn’s first birthday.
(That first year has flown by!)
It is funny how a new baby in the family can bring about new family
traditions.
I had a wonderful Thanksgiving with my daughter and
granddaughter. A LOT of food, enjoying
the Macy’s Parade, and just some good family time. I was also able to work in a couple of psychic readings
Thanksgiving Day. Honestly, I feel
truly blessed in being able to say that I have too many things that I am
grateful for to be able to list!
With all of the commotion of a big birthday party, we are
waiting a week before digging out the Christmas tree. Between our cat and a one-year old that should be an adventure in
itself! I am enjoying our new tradition
of “Elf on a Shelf”. Her name is “Sugar
plum” and she can turn up anywhere!
The month of December, the plan is for psychic readings and
picking up on some of my writing. (We
do have one paranormal investigation to knock out this week.) And….my birthday is in December!!!! (A shout out to all of the Sagittarius out
there!)
I do have a couple of specials that will remain in place for
the holidays. The one-hour psychicreading will remain at a reduced rate as well as the Distant Learning Coursefor Reiki Certifications. I would also
like to thank my daughter for her hard work on beginning a new shop on my
website! ( I do tend to throw out some random specials on Twitter during the
month.)
I do remain available during the holidays, though sometimes
it may be later in the evening. As
always the best times to reach me are between 1pm to 1am.
As we approach Christmas, please be mindful of the scams out
there! Check out this email I got
today…(I removed the senders name.)
I guess they forgot that their psychic’s address was in
their address book. And you better
believe I replied! That person is no
more at an embassy or robbed than I am!
My heart goes out to anyone that has been scammed.
I do understand that some of you suffer from the “Holiday
Blues”. Please remember that this is
ONLY a brief time in the year! I get a
lot of callers from those that don’t want to be alone. (I would like to remind you that there are
worse things in life than being alone!
You could be in some needless drama instead.)
The holidays are what YOU make of them. Join the shopping crowds and make yourself a
stocking, or a stocking for your coworkers or pets. VOLUNTEER! Shelters, food
banks etc. Sometimes the greatest gift
is giving back to others! Or simply get
out and enjoy the Christmas lights. It
is all up to you.
